Cfl As An Addon In Room

Hey all!
Getting my first grow underway here and with that comes new ideas popping in. Not really the amazon forest going on atm but when that time comes I am thinking of buying about 8 cfl's to put in some y-sockets and putting them in every corner of my growtent below the plants as they get bigger. Do you think this would work out well?

yes it will help the more light the merrier. It will help eliminate any "popcorn" buds and make the lower buds a bit bigger

What kind of cfl's should I get for side lighting and where can I get the splittet sockets that holds 2 bulbs?I'm thinking I'll go for 8 bulbs and I would put them in the corners at level with base of plants.

For myself, I use the 43 watt used, 150 watt equivelant cfls. But i do not use the y splitters. I use the single light reflectors that have a clamp on them. then I suspended movable string line so I can quickly and easily move my lights as needed. these things work great.

You have pics of that setup Dangly? That would be interesting to see. What we need is a CFL Forum on its own. Kind of segregate the cfl users from the HID users.

I think CFL's will eventually be the way to go. That is unless you have that decent sized room in order to use HID lighting.
