I told myself I wouldn't check on them until Friday, and it's KILLING ME lol. xD I wanted to give myself the impression they are actually growing faster than I think lol...Well the pollen sacs on the male are starting to get larger, and I think I'll be plucking a few soon

Ok so I'll check them tomorrow and bring back some pics, it's been raining straight for like 3 weeks here.....Plants dont look overwatered though, at least not the one i have near the house. Read up on the local almanac and it seems last years first frost didnt come till Decemeber! lol And the average for this area is actually about Nov. 5th...*fingers crossed*

Lol sorry if I excited you early, but a quick montage of em before checking lol...THIS IS KILLING ME, 5 days w/o even seeing them, omg...


...Day 1(August 24)......Day 18 (12-12)....Day 36 (signs of sex)....Friday will be Day 56. I'm thinking harvest around ~Day 75 But since cold stunts growth, I don't know...May have to just harvest with clear trichs.

*Day 75 would be like Nov 5th, first freeze, oi...maybe ill harvest one at clear trichs and bring the other one inside

Definitely gonna be saving the pollen

Ok so here they are...still not any bud, nice pistils on the nodes though

Lol, something is wrong with the male, i think a calcium deficiency, but Ive already started to pluck sacs and I dont really care about it, lol...

Well, this is what I get from my attorney heritage. Procrastinate, procrastinate, and procrastinate some more. This season, mother nature just doesn't like me. It rained all this week, going to let up for the next week, and then rain all week again. This doubled with predicted frost on sunday morning and sunday night, I'm going to HAVE to come back indoors with at least one of them, and I am thinking of making a makeshift greenhouse for the one outside.... I will pollinate the one indoors and try to harvest the one I leave outdoors, I guess the big Trek will happen tomorrow...oi, 1.5 miles with one of those bins, 40lb of wet soil and a MJ plant, woopdy doo, lmao.

Hey kaiserAxel, just read this journal for the first time.I'm interested in growing blackberry from Nirvana as well, I love your CFL setup.Hopefully your 40 pounds of wet soil and girls will make it on the nighthike back, and you won't have any trouble with the frost.Best case scenario it won't happen till the last day of flowering and your buds will turn lavender.

I wish I could trim and re-pot them into smaller pots...kind of impractical though lmao, Ive heard of root trimming, dunno...
(two fit two in the cabinet so I can bring both back)

Well Im going out tonight, ugh...40degrees, wet from rain today, i could give a fuck about footprints lol, im bringin a fuckin wagon, they can follow the trail back to my house if they want xD


--And about the purple part and all that, the one im bringing indoors will still be cold in the attic, but not freezing cold I couldnt care less about the color matter, sort of like green ham, it all tastes the same, hehe

WELL...that was just sooo much FUN -_-....Sorry, I dont feel like posting pics atm...tired...but I got one back. Tore some roots re-potting (the bin didnt fit in the cabinet like I thought it would, so I may trim the two plants and also bring the other one in ;D )...Continuing to collect pollen sacs, about 1/4 done with the guy.

Ha, thatd be nice..but yea I just setup that plant in the cabinet and it takes the whole thing up, lol...So I think that option is out of the window. Going to try to make that greenhouse...

Lol, how you guys like my heater? (pet heating rock, haha)..
Status: So a few of the leaves a bit eaten up, normal I'd figure for outdoors. She fits perfectly, has 4 top colas which are nice and even under the CFLs, and about 3-4 more a bit lower.

I'll measure tomorrow, lights out till 8am and I'll be back at like uh, 5pm?
I can tell you that the pic makes her look short, I'd guess about 3ft? 4ft including pot?
