Hey all, This is my first post and first time grow.
My space is very confined, and I am using soil a total organic grow.
I purchased some seeds from a company called Doc Bush Seeds
I obtained 10 Gold Skunk seeds, 9 G17 seeds, and 2 mixbag seed from a buddy of mine. All together 21 seedlings

Im currently running 1 ballast with a Y splitter to two 45 Watt CFL's

This is my set up so far, I only have 50 days till I have to leave so i will be putting them on 12/12 starting today

i think if you layed the lights long ways insted of up and down and some diy coke can reflectors you could get some better lighting. but none the less it looks good and i wish you could leave them in vegg for much longer. im curious to how much weight you will yeild cutting your time in vegg and taking them into flowering. you got to do what u got to do

thanks accord, Iv been flowering them for almost 4 days now, and I see 2 which are female so far.. the rest seems to still be in vegging state due to their size.. is this normal?

Okay change of plans. Since im going to be gone, my buddie is going to help me take care of them, thus giving them more time to Veg. I am currently still trying to bud 2 of the plants giving them 12/12 while the rest recieves 18/6. I will be moving them into a larger pot before i leave. I currently have 4 45W CFL's and 2 26W. I am also feeding them very small doses of Schultz Bloom Builder 10-54-10. They seem to have grown much bushier and thicker within the past couple days.

The 2 which i am budding, One turned out a male (which was deformed from birth)and one a Female. The male naturaly grew 2 top nodes by its self.. has this happend to anyone before? I just checked again today and it has balls forming from the middle of the 2 nodes and has white hairs on the top node. Perhaps a hermie.. I will try getting pics of this tomo. The Budding ones are the 2 larger ones if you can spot them

Okay, so its been a while since i updated and my ladies have just grown a lot. I have 18 plants in veg hopefully transplanting really soon and 2 plants I am manualy givining them 12/12. I have just made a Carbon filter the other day to keep the smell down as it is starting to smell quite a bit.

Also, one of the 2 plants which i am force flowering turned out to be a male with small balls at first. But as i stressed it out with many light changes it magicaly turned into a female and i have cut off the balls

Take a look at my pics.. does this seem alright for a CFL grow?

Sorry dude, you needed to take the advice from chosen and transplant into bigger pots. although they look ok they are not going to be very big at all. Your roots are going to start fighting for room

K its been some time since i updated. And iv taken the advice from chosen and transplanted once i knew the sex. Turned out i had 9 males and 9 females. So.. i guess it was an okay ratio.
I started flowering 2 of my bagseed "outdoor swiss" which my buddy gave me. This strain smells ridiculously citricey so I took some male flowers from GOLD SKUNK and fertilized both of these outdoor swiss ladies. And as for the rest of the plants i have transplanted into a rubbermaid cut in half.

As you can see im not really after a huge harvest but just enough so that me and my roomate can enjoy, and perhaps some seeds for the future.

Plants look nice. If you take a good look at your first picture you will see where you might make a small improvment for next time. They look awesome. VV

Yup, these are being grown all under CFL's

I have 4 x 45W CFL's and 1x 23 Watt
Im actualy amazed at the outcome, the buds are hard, dense and crystalized rather than fluffy and lengthy.

And couple days after i transplanted my females, they just shot up another half a dozen inches. I guess root space does indead affect the growth of the plant.

Nice grow. CFL's seem to have a bad rep around here but I'm pretty happy with the results of my current grow using CFL's. Pretty much the same amount of lighting you have. nice plants. Looking like some chronic.

YAY! after 1 month of Vacation I came back to see my babies. And here are the results.. Im so happy how they turned out :hump: noting that I only used pretty much 4 X 45W cfls and 1 X 23 W CFL for 9 plants. I have learned so much from this site, even though my yeild may not be monsterouse, I sure am damn happy about how things turned out =)

The harvested plants are both OutDoor Swiss seeds. I fertizlized both of them since they were the only ones left of the swiss. First one i let it fertilize itsself since it was a hermie and im hoping to get fem seeds. 2nd one i fertlized with a massive Gold Skunk male.

The rest of the G17's and Gold skunks have another month or so to go. But they are looking alright pretty decent at the moment

What do you guys think so far?

yes these are seeded buds. Iv taken seeds from half a plant and I have about 100 seeds or so at the moment.

Do you guys know a easier way to harvest seeds? Iv been using a needle and poking them out. Should i wait untill the buds dry then try removing the seeds?
