CFL DWC Just the right size...

Alright, so im trying to determine how large I should go. Got enough space in my room, but Im running CFL's. Don't feel like going crazy with a million bulbs, so im thinking of flowering at 12 inches. Leaving enough expansion room for flowering, while still having enough light...

What do you guys/ gals normally do?

Yeilds? Im running a simple setup, on the lower spectrum of ideal. CNS17 Nutes, no chiller. CFL's. You know, the budget grow. I'm not counting on a specific amount to harvest, i just wanna enjoy my own smoke for once. Haha.

Thoughts? Check out my journal for a little more info...

Personally, I don't see a point in using cfl's past the seedling stage with such cheap alternatives like an apollo 400W setup for what? 125 bucks?

Without knowing how many bulbs/watts you are using, plant size and yield is anybodies guess.

That was my thought too but if you are on a budget you have to spend on keeping the space cool enough. That said I have zero experience flowering with cfls. I only use them for supplemental light in veg with my T-5s.

It was more a question opinion... Eventually ill grab better lights as long as It turns out to be successful. Doing 100w per plant. Will be the same maybe more for flowering. This is pretty much my first dedicated grow. and I already had the lights from past projects.

I use cfls alone on soil grows.use a mix of grow bioom all through.it works alrite. 100watts per is not enough in my experience on soil.worked very well on autos.about 150 watts per.is much faster veg
