CFL Flood Lights?

Anyone have anything to report about using CFL Flood Lights? Any different from regular Spirals or Tubular CFL's?

I have had bad luck with them. They seem to produce substantially less light than the spiral bulbs of the same wattage. Just use a heat lamp shroud or some other type of normal bulb reflector.

Glass is only 70% clear, so you are only getting 70% of the true brightness of the CFL bulb.
