Cfl flowering journal (pics!)

so i took some more pictures today i thought they were worth it, she is looking so nice!
and now nomore bugs!

Great grow Slinger! You've got the green thumb bro! Question for you... you mentioned removing top inch of soil and watering with one part alcohol, one part peroxide, one part water - can you fill me in on how much of each you used... like ozs or whatever? And also, Does it matter what strength alchol you use? Is 91% isopropyl too strong?

NuteGreenWitch- as far a the mixture and% of alcohol i used approx, 1oz of alcohol, 1oz of peroxide and 2 oz of water, all the soil bugs are dead but i have caught maybe 2 of the flying knats on the soil which i immediately sprayed the entire soil over again since i had some leftover of the mixture, all seems to be going well thanks for check out my grow,

As far as light setup i have 7 42 watt soft white cfls six of which are plugged into a surge protector i have hanging from the rack in my closet, plugged in using the light socket to electrical socket adapters i found at a hardware store for 1.99 a piece, the other light is in a "bendy" desk lamp that i have shining through the lower part of the plant.
so yea everything is going well i might buys 2 more 42s for the 3/4 of flowering phase that is left.

your buds are very hairy compared to when mine were at that stage. maybe signs of bigger buds? very nice.

Lol i was thinking thew same thing, norris , but didn't want to sa y anything, i was afraid it was a sign of lesser growing skills lol

i dunno why it has more hairs, the buds are getting larger and larger every day, right now i think if i was to cut it down id get 1/8 of a oz, but im not cutting it until i gotta, strain could also be the reason for it being more hairy! we shall see what happens in the end.
btw this is not my first grow

Whatever the case it is looking great, this isnt my first grow either but it is my first indoor grow with these cfls! I like the good old sun a little better so far but hopefully im just being impatient!

the hairs are starting to turn a bright orange color will upload some pics when i get home tonight, flushed the plant yesterday with 4 gallons of water, i am gonna flush again next week cause the water coming out of the plant was still slightly yellow.

OK, I'm a little lost here. I thought you were about 4 weeks into flowering?? You're already flushing? Also, a question. You used rubbing alcohol as a part of your solution? I would have thought that would have hurt the root system? I had the same problem and put a layer of sand on...fixed the problem for awhile, but I keep forgetting to attack all my "other house plants"....so I think they came back---that and the fact I just can't keep my hands out of the dirt---love to get my hands dirty.
You said you used a 10-30-10 fertilizer? What kind? The closest thing I could find to that was "Miracle Bloom"...15-30-15....too high in the nitrogen level I am sure. I decided I hate organics!!! My place stinks just from using the Neptunes Harvest.
On to the brown sugar thing......seriously? I've given my plants an infusion of tea---yes, tea. Don't knock it til you try it....with moderate amount of honey, but brown sugar? Wow, I may have to try that. I'll be following your grow to see how that works out.
BTW.....plant looks REALLY healthy.
Damn, I'm kind of jealous. Mine is at about 30 days and nowhere near as fluffy. Looks like you came accross a better strain than I did with bagseed. DAMN local growers....they so pride themselves with selling you a bud for an arm and a leg----because it has no seeds. Nothing wrong with a sporadic seed or two in the bag if you ask me.
I'm agreeing with the person who posted earlier "nothing like the sun." This is my first CFL and it's just NOWHERE near the same.....still, I'm impressed with what they do no doubt.
Again, I'm jealous. I'm using over 700 watts for 3 plants. 21", 16" and 15"......what gives? I want your plant!!! LOL

Those are nice plants, very nice. I think this is a great post and I'm very interested in seeing the buds. You're photos are great. I've got some plants growing under cfls, my second grow. The first was pretty good for my purposes, but I want to improve this time. Trying to glean as much information on this site as possible. This growing thing is so much fun, something about it. Well, best of luck to you and your girls and I'll be checking out the results.

wow alot of people came through last night sorry for no pictures but i was curing
my munchies at Outback Steakhouse haha, anyways to answer some questions,

Babs34: curriently im at 30 days of flowering and im tryin to harvest at the 45 day markthere are a few strains that are said to be ready at the 45 day mark, im not sure if thisis one but im kinda on a time limit so im gonna try and get the best quality thats why i flushed, dont wanna have any nasty tasting Nutes in my herb, and you are right it is 15 30 15 miracle grow, this Cfl shit started out as a test and it worked out greati didnt wanna spend money on nutes for a bagseed either so i just bought stuff at the localstore, as for the alcohol solution i did not have much alcohol in the solution and it was
deluted 2 to 1, i figure my roots are strong enough to handle anything that might happen,the alcohol also evaporates so it doesnt stay in the roots for very long, and yea i used brown sugar for the past week to see how it works out, like i said this is only a testof cfls but it seems to have come along great,

Anywas a picture update, hairs are starting to change colors some greenish, some neon orange, lots of trichs, i bought a hand held microscope from Radioshack and the
trichs are starting to cloud up, wish me luck i will update in a few days, took some pics
with the microscope and my camera they are not they great but they give you am glimpse of what is there.
