I'm using 130w for veg, clones and flowering

ok so went to local supplier and got 4 x 14W (6500k, 760 lumen - 54 lumen/W) for vegging... and got 3 x 20W (2700k, doesnt say lumen amount) and 2 x 23W (2700k 1550 lumen - 70lumen/W)...

should i get more? or see how this goes, keep in mind its in a standard size fridge with mylar all over.

I'd see how things go just add a light once in a while

ok guys... so all lights are in! and now fun part of keeping the temp down is upon me...

thinking pc fans? butttt how to fire them? ive got a PC Supply which ive dummy wired so that i can wire up fans to run when its plugged in... but ive been told that the supply will cark itself because its hasnt got the draw of a motherboard etc... is this true? if i was to wire up say 3 or 4 fans to this 1 supply would be still run fine? and be able to be left on all night and day?...

Just dont wanna wake up to a house on fire...

if your woried about that buy a cheep fan and rig up an air vent to vent the hot air out

While mylar is a great reflector, the white walls of your fridge should be sufficient in terms of space, you should get rid of the mylar, it will trap more heat in there. A computer power supply to run a 12v pc fan is overkill..

While you may burn your plants with too much bulb heat, you're not going to start any fires with the heat from CFL bulbs (electrical fires are another matter), the melting point of plastic at it's lowest is about 110[FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]° ([/FONT][FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Celsius), it's ignition point is in the 300[/FONT][FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]° to 450[/FONT][FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]° C range. Paper ignites at 232[/FONT][FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]° C for reference.

yerr im thinking of going overkill with exhaust just tomake sure temps stay low.

Maybe I need to elaborate.. A computer fan will run just as good on a lantern battery as it would on a pc power source.. A pc power source in your fridge would add 10x as much heat as your lights would.. not to mention, you'd be running something like 100-200 watts just to run a low electricity consuming DC fan..

Get an AC inline pipe fan, use the fridges existing wiring to power it, $20-30 bucks, and you can use it to push air through a filter as well.

hi i need my questions answered fast becuz not alot of people have told me the answers to these
i am doing my first grow and i have 1 seed directly put into soil(NO GERMINATION)
and 4 others germing i was told they r BC kush from my friend and i am using a stealth mini grow in a small cabnit read my jounal in my sig and i am using 13w 2700k cfls from seed to veg and its day 2 for the germing of the seeds and day 2 of the seed in the soil and i have only one 13w 2700k cfl over it approx. 2-3inchs above the sand i am wondering if this will sprout i need to no becuz if it doenst sprout then i no its my soil it is very clayie and just unknown top soil from last year for my girlfriends flower garden the ph of water i am using right now is 7.0 becuz right now i am using bottled water and my tap water is 7.0 ph will that work? just cheaper then buying bottled water and i am growing 5 plants altogether depending on how many germ or sprout and i am using 1 13w 2700k over the seed i put directly into the soil is that ok? and i will be adding 4 of the same 13w 2700k clfs 1 over each seed/seedling will that work? i am obtaining a timer by monday possibly(off my friend) or if i dont i will be buying one once i get the chance, the tiemr will be set to 12 hours on and 12 hours off to force the plants to go directly into flower becuz my growing area is only 16" in hight and thats without any lights or anything lights r on a chaqin and everything else please ask and answer questions ASAP thx and good smoke to u all

also i forgot to add the 13w cfls give off 800 lumens i heard and that is approx. 61 lumens/watt
