Got a few questions, sorry but doing a very similar grow:
How big was this plant on your first post, how much has it grown since?
Can you give a guess on the yield?
What size pot are you using?
Thanks for all your help

Lowercase: Below is a picture of one of the girls on 10/22/07. The second pic is of today. That is how much they've grown in 30 +/- days. As far as yeild, I have no clue. This was an experimental grow so I would be happy with at least an ounce off both plants. One is budding like crazy and the other one seems to be growing really slow, but, I know some strains don't fill out until later in flowering. I beleive I am using 1 gallon pots.

Thanks man. I am very interested in other people's cfl grows as well. If this bud is stoney then I'm going to order some top quality seeds.

if i showed you my guys after 15 days under a 1000w and a couple of vho t5s (red) going across the pots, you guys would say "DAMN I NEED A HPS!!!!!!!!
THESE CFLS AIN'T CUTTING IT"
LOL LOL LOL
but i love t5s/cfls in my veg room.
WHEN IN FLOWERING YOU NEED A HPS TO PENETRATE TO ALL THE LEAVES AND STEMS.
thats why i have two (t5s)underneath the plants also.
Goodluck I tried the cfl thing too,now there all in my vegging room besides the two i switched out with reds.

Trust me, I know I need an HPS. I don't think people grow with CFL's because they think it's better, they grow with CFL's because it's convenient and inexpensive. I keep worrying that my buds are gonna be fluffy due to the lighting, but, I'm making due with what I've got and the buds don't look to bad. Keep in mind that I only have two very small plants less than 18" tall. I will definitely be using HPS for my next grow. I started LST to get better light penetration.

I'd love to buy an HPS even a 250-400 watt cause I'm only going to grow 5 plants max, but I am very paranoid about heat issues and starting a fire because I am at work 10 hours out of the day. Are 250 watt hps's dangerous like for fire hazards?

a low watt hps like 250w you should be ok depending upon the amount of space you have. if you decide to get one just keep it away from flammable things keep dust down and you should be good. also make sure theres no fingerprints on the bulb as they can explode

Going into week 5 and I can really see my indica starting to fill out. Watered & fed with full bloom. I've been alternating between ferts & molasses.
I think that your weed looks great for a cfl grow, loads of crystals and looking healthy:blsmoke:

if you are going to continue to use the cfls, Seemorebuds recommends keeping your plants under 20 inches thats the max range for cfls to penetrate, it will let the buds dense up instead of fluffy ones the only bad thing is you have to keep it short it seemed to work for him. Thought I'd let you know

Yeah, I heard that too. The plants are only 15 or 16 inches from the top of the pot, I was also doing LST a few weeks ago which allowed the mid section buds fill out. I untied them 3 days ago and I recenlty added additional lighting for the bottm buds.
