CFL grow in 4x4x4 box

Alright, this is my first post & I'm looking forward to some good feedback from the community!

This is my first grow in my new box, currently my babies are fully flowering & even though this crop doesn't have a great yield I was able to take a few clones & hopefully pick out a good mother. The seeds were obtained from a fellow cultivator & he claims them to be AK-47. The other young plants on the right side of the box are some random bag seed I have going until my clones are ready.

What I'm Using:
-9 CFL 2700k
-4 CFL 6500k
-Soil medium (mixed with vermiculite)
-Fox Farm nutes (Big Bloom & Tiger Bloom while flowering)
-One gallon pots
-1 Four gallon pot (recent transplant)

Originally I intended on filling the box with 1gal pots but the soil dries out within a day & I don't feel the plants are getting the most out of the nutrients. I can probably fit 4 of the 5gal pots in there for my next grow and was thinking of using LTS & topping techniques to make better use of light and space.

Any suggestions or questions are welcome!

IMO, you'd be better off trying to hit a light ratio of 2-6500k for every 1-2700k for Veg, and flip it for Flower. Obviously won't hurt it if you dont, just my two pennies!

I'm glad to hear that, that ratio is what I was basing my lights off of. I just happened to have an extra socket so I stuck another 2700 in it during flower & vice-versa for veg. Thanks for the support!!!

Thanks for the love, I do have to admit to pumping them full of the fox farm nutes. Kept increasing the feed & they seemed to love it, last feed was 1/2 cup of Big Bloom per gal & 3 tbsp Tiger Bloom. The Tiger Bloom is high in Phosphate so I kick it up during flowering & it has a bunch of other nutrients that plants need during the end of their cycle.

Editing to add that I flushed first when i switched to flowering & gave a second flush midway through, planning on giving one more good flush before harvest.

buds look great man, but you should really have those lights 1-2 inches away from those plants, and even between the leaves. i have a box that is similar to yours. its 4ft l x 3 1/2ft t x 2 1/2ft w, but i have 24 bulbs in it all 26 watts. i keep mine 1 inch away from the plants at all times. as long as it doesnt burn the plant it will only make the buds bigger.

Yeah, I've been slacking - I need to rehang my center row, where they are is as low as i can get them atm. Considering changing my lighting altogether because I don't feel what I have is putting out enough lumen per sqft. Thanks for the tip! Gonna work on that now
