CFL Grow (Jack the Ripper clone)

Those plants are not done yet. Don't chop yet!! Still bright green, white pistils means those buds are still growing. Get the scope and check the trics. Lower fan leaves should begin to yellow and the plant will have a finished look to her. Trust me bro, you will thank me later.

i am trying to figure out where to get a scope.
 
Got the scope at radio shack today.
I looked at the trichomes and they are still mostly clear. every so often an amber colored one would be scattered in.
It is amazing looking at them under the scope. I have been lookeing for the last 30 mins

Still not done yet according to that chart that was posted on my thread earlier.

the scope was about 12 bucks then the price of triple A batteries. not to bad if you ask me.

I just looked at the trichomes again and they are getting cloudy. even compaired to yesterday. I wanted to harvest when they are mostly cloudy and not to amber so I don't want to wait to long.
I am leaving town for the 4th and I think I am going to wait until sunday night to start the 48 hours of darkness.
I was wondering also if they would get more cloudy during the 2 days of darkness? because it would be really easy to turn the lights out tonight and have them sit in the dark until I get home on sunday night. then harvest.

i figure its probably best to give them a few more days of light.
what do you think?

yo man-sweet plants you got there.dont cut them don yet-give it a week or a half week more and then get your axe and do some tree falling.

I looked at the trics on monday and I decided to give them 2 more days of light. So tueday night I check the trics and they were mostly cloudy with about 1/4th of them amber on the tips.
So Wed. was the first day of total darkness. They will be in the dark today also. and I am going to Harvest tonight!!!!

Time to do some final last minute research on harvesting.
 
I planned on waiting until six pm but I chopped them early. They still got 40 hours of darkness. I was also reading around and found out that a lot of people don't even do a dark period at all so I chopped.



I was surprised at how much I yielded.
the second plant couldn't support herself at all when I took her out to chopper down. Pretty cool experience. I took a lot of pictures

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP so far.

also I turned my veg room into a place to hang dry the buds.

I have 3 ladies growing in the veg room right now. I think I am going to start their own grow journal. now that I harvested these I can give them more attention.
three strains currently vegging
Chemdawg
Purple Extreem
and one from bagseed-female-

I topped the plant that i grew from seed. She has three tops now. Not sure how that happened but there are three. :joint:
 
LOL I like all the pics and the difrent angels, would u grow it again, is it a lemon haze smell? I just got 5 JTR beans and waiting to clear some sppace to plant em lol

I am glad you like the pics. I am definitely going to grow it again. I think I got a big yield for the space I have and the size of the plants. Yeah they have a lemon / pine smell right now. I guess as I cure them that pine smell will leave and just the lemon smell will remain.
