CFL grow journal, starting week 6 veg

I was hoping I might get someone to join in on this journal and help me a little bit. I'm a newbie, first timer, running a cfl setup. I have had what I believe is Bruce Banner going for 7 weeks from seed with a 20/4 light schedule. I'm using 6500K cfls, about 11 right now. My closet is 4ft tall by 2 ft wide and 2 ft deep. I'm hoping once I start flower soon she won't get up to the 5-6' otherwise I'm going to have to figure something out. It seems to be growing well. I have it in just an organic soil and I feed 3 TBS of catalyst and a TBS of Grow per gallon of water. I don't know my Ph but it's filtered so it has to be around 6? Any input would be great! :thumbup:

It's time to transplant her buddy . make sure to give her a good watering before you do to keep the rootball intact and when you do ...fill the container up all the way
Whenever you decide to switch the cycles ... I would mix the spectrum ( leave some of whatever you're using and add more 2700K ) to reduce stretching during the first cpl of weeks of 12/12
I would also first put the plant on 18/6 for a week and then 12/12 . don't know much about that strain thou

looking nice and green, not very big for 6 weeks but its healthy,

do you have any 2700K to use, a 3(6500):1(2700) ratio is recommended for veg and 1:3 for flowering…

your nutes are gonna impact your ph so worth picking up a cheap ph pen

She's in a 3.5 gallon pot, I was hoping I didn't need to go bigger...? I have one 2700k in there too, I could throw more in there now. It's so bushy...there's so much undergrowth.

More soil required, as that space in the pot, get very very hot and dry, and cooks the plant in time, ...your plant is typical of plants grown under cfl's using but one range of kelvin, that of the blue band or 6500k, blue or cool white encourages horizontal growth, for the next week or 2, swap out the cool whites for some warm whites, 2700k that makes vertical growth, once the inter nodes have parted a bit, 2 weeks? replace 50% of the bulbs with your cool whites and continue, the requires both colors ...google kelvin

Ok I'll swap out most of my 6500k and try and get some stretch

I added more dirt and my ratio is 50/50 with 2700 and 6500. I want to start force flower on Sunday.

After adding more dirt, switching out most the lights and positioning the lights around it carefully it seems to be stretching! I'm hoping Sunday will be the perfect day to start flowering. First 12/12 here I come. Wish me luck :-) Just got my bloom nute today. Input?

I believe its best to consider flowering day 1 when you start to see pistils appearing on your girl…

I have just tonight swapped out my cfls to begin flowering ,

dropped to 16/8 for the next two nights then go 12/12 so not to stress her… ill get thread going soon hopefully….

keep us updated….

To be honest....I don't even know if it's a girl lol. I figure I need to force flower right? It's my first like I said...im anxious haha. I've kind of put a lot upfront hoping to do it right

Thanks bro that means a lot haha. I'm expecting quite the stretch at this point. I topped it once to get two main colas. I feel like I need more light, I'm stressin a bit. :-) optimistic though!

its looking really good bro. Im rooting for ya big time you've kept that plant very healthy and you deserve for it to produce some good smoke off it. With cfls you can always have more light. Don't be afraid to put more in there. Y splitters are your best friend :) and if you don't want to add bunches of small ones hardware stores sell the big 300w bulbs for $15. I think you will be rewarded for your hard work bro but next time if you don't want to go through this get fem seeds. Pretty cheap for some quality strains and you can buy one seed too. Peace bro keep updating

Hell yeah it's good to see ya :-) Thanks a ton for the comments. I'm going to keep it updated for sure from this point on. Will be adding more bulbs as soon as I can figure out how to incorporate it in my setup. I just water/fed it this morning. My mixture right now is 8ml bloom 4ml grow and 8ml catalyst

Well, I am seeing something small, only one so far, crawling around my main stalk. I'm sad...but hoping i caught it soon enough and can figure out how to get rid of it. Need to do some more exploring....some of my leave tips have browned and withered but I'm pretty positive that's just a little nute burn. Some other leaves look kind of weird though. Posting a pic of one pics...input?
