well with low humidity mold isn't really a problem don't sweat it dude .
Also wouldn't leaving the door open it lets light in no?
You should just have a fan blowing fresh air in and one blowing out.

We have some picture updates!!

My plant has gotten so damn bushy. New growth has appeared everywhere. I'm estimating this plant to hit 3.5 feet.

CFL's work excellent for vegging. The trick in flower is to get them all close enough to produce buds that are not so airy. I used to grow with CFL's they did a fine job, it just gets real old adjusting the lights everyday and in my case having to use more watts with more cfl's then using my 300 watts of HPS, which out yielded the same strain by almost a 3-1 margin over the cfl's, with 100 less watts.

The buds will be potent, taste the same but just won't have the extra weight that an HID lamp will give you. Do yourself a favor and try to save some money for an HPS for flowering and you will never look back.

I still use my CFL cab for veg, they work great.

You just solved my one problem. I was planning on using socket plugs in light strips with the Y's. the cords look much simpler.

Glad I could help I am uploading some more pictures later tonight. I was gona for a few days and had my friend watering. It exploded upwards.
 
If anyone is interested, I have pic of a homemade cfl fixture that my fiancee built for us, we just screw in a couple splitters and they work great.

Lookin very nice so far...I'm subbed so I can follow along.

actually pretty old. I stunted its growth a while back then replanted it and it started shooting up. It's over 25" now I expect it to get around 3.5-4' on the top colas.
 
Finally got it's hairs. 2 weeks into 12/12 and its just starting to flower. I guess the beast just wanted to grow a bit first. It is 26" currently and I will add the pics in soon.
 
Here are some new pictures. All of the colas have sprouted their hairs. The plant is now 27" tall and is growing inches daily. she has filled in a lot also with side branches growing up and around. The plant is touching the back wall of my closet and has almost filled it in width also.
