u might want to get more. more lights means better yield. u might b able to get away with it but the more lights the better. right now im using 2 23watt cfls just for the start of my veg. once the plant gets going im gonna add 4 more and then even more once i flower. keep posting and ill keep checkin by

You can get away with that for ONE plant, but more would be better.

More than one plant? Brace yourself for fluffy buds and low yield.

i use two 2700K (32watt) and two 5000K (26watt) for flowering one plant in a hydro DWC setup.

For personal stash smoke, CFL's will do nicely though more light is almost always better

Thanks for posting that photo. Do you remember how much you yielded dried?
that's my current plant, getting chopped next week. It's lookin to yeild about 1.5oz dried.
Though the first time I flowered using CFLs, I grew a wee little bonzi (as seen in my avatar) to about 8in tall. That lil one yeilded about half a Z. As they always say, pratice makes perfect. You'll find moving the lights around every day is going to be a fun game. I always have to yell at my plant and tell it "NO! Don't touch the bulbs. They're HOT!" lol

Do you have any pics of your plant and setup?

Monkey, we gotta help you with your grow...your current set-up should be able to produce much better plants than that with no extra cost.

dude i use 23 26 watt cfls on 3 plants and i still dont think thats enough light for my likeing,i think all together i got something like 56,000 lumens in a 3 by 2 1/2 area which is like 5000 lumens per sq foot ,thats ok for budding but u want to get closer to 10,000 lumens per sq foot

the sun never changes color wtf why do ppl switch from 6500k to 2700k i will never understand . i run 6500k through to whole grow
