cfl lighting help

hey guys. this is my first grow. ill be growing 3 fem bubblelicious. my space is 46.5lx25dx50h. what kinda lights should i get. color watts lumus . i wants this to be a good 1st grow. thanks for the space

I'll get your thread started, though this is just some very general info the faq has,

1. You want about 50-100 watts per square foot. That works out to about 400-800 watts.
2. For color, the 5000k-6000k are good for the vegging part. For flower some use all 2700k, some others say that a mix of 2700k and the 5000k-6000k is best.
3. Bulb size. The cheapest for lumens per watt are the 26w/42w(or close to those wattages). The bigger, 100w and up, are used by somewhat fewer people here. They are more expensive, but might do better. That tends to get debated from time to time.

The more experienced can give better detail, but these are the basics.

in vegetation use the high kelvin bulbs (blue spectrum- 4800K to 6500K) the color of metal halides, which promotes compact/ leafy development
4 flowering switch low kelvin lights (red spectrum- 2200K to 3500K) the color of hps, which promotes dense bud growth.

I just finished harvesting 3 bubble plant last week. They take alot of space and bushy, mine were.
