Hey all.

So we've moved all the plants to their new location. Should be a much better environment. Still figuring a few things out though. This will at least be more permanent.

The plants are varied. The first two potted plants look amazing but the hempy ones are a bit weird. One looks as if it is not a lowryder but it may be too early to tell. The other is looking sickly, but is getting better in the new tent.

Here's a few more pics.

The tent.

The plants.

Moar plants.

I'm thinking I may have made my hempy pots too big for autoflowers so we're going to start another one in a smaller sized container. We'll see how it goes.

For now we're pretty happy to have our first grow growing decent and excited about the future.

Plants are all happier in the tent for sure. They're booming with new growth and a little bit of stretch :P

Still using a weak nutrient solution on all of them. Will probably just continue that throughout.

Here's some new pics of the twins :P

Half way there!

Well I've gone from 2 stealthy plants to 4 plants sitting in a tent in my basement.

Definitely not stealth anymore but the setup keeps improving. Here's our latest after a trip to lowes. We built a little frame with light sockets. We've got 19 lights in there right now and will have more :) We're running right around 100W per plant. We shielded the top with tin foil even so we've got a basic reflector.

Our plan for the future is to use this same setup for a continual harvvest of autos. We plan to start one plant every week and so we'll have 8 plants at any given time.

Can't wait to see what these babies yield in the end.

One hempy had a rough life so it's not very big and rather sick looking leaves. It's new growth is good, just stunted. We're just letting it do it's own thing. The other hempy has stayed short but grown wide. It has almost all it's nodes on top of each other with very little stretch.

Both potted plants are looking very nice with plenty of pistils shooting all over the place. Out of the 5 seeds we had, these four were all female and the right strain. A+ for Attitude. Starting the 5th today.

As always here's some pics :D

Shot from a few feet outside the tent.

An overview of the inside setup. Total cost of materials for new stuff is around 60 bucks.

Our tallest and most sexy looking. It's got a bit of stretch but a lot of branching and bud sites :D

Hope you enjoy. Questions or comments?

what up ransom

new set up looks good. what are your temps looking like? i would think with all those cfl's it might get a lil warm. o and what kind of exhaust fans are you running? try moving the plants closer to the lights, less stretch. all are looking very healthy. keep it up

Temps have been in the mid 80's. We open the tent up periodically and talk to the plants and things cool down. Humidity is 30-50% range.

Our fan system is just a small floor fan that moves air around the tent and out some vents. It's in a back room so there's no external air exchange but the basement gets fresh air fairly often.

Burned a few plants and stretched a few. Now that we have a stable setup we'll be able to keep the lights a bit closer :)

This is still way cooler than we imagined. We think this is a very good trial run and now that we have the wrinkles ironed out it will be much better the next time around.

Started the new seedling so you'll get to see her soon.

Day 41ish for the potted plants. A little less for the hempy's.

Well I decided it's about time I get some more pics on here. We've had some nutrient problems but we think we've got that solved now. Few dead leaves but overall the plants look real nice.

I've got a ton of pics for you. We've started the last LR2 seedling which is now in a hempy, and also the free seeds attitude sent us which were supposed to be DNA lemon skunk and Dinafem power kush which are just in the jiffy starters. We're going to let those veg right along with our LR's and then decide how to flower them later. We're still deciding how we want to keep our grow sustainable without buying seeds.

Overall we're still happy. After looking over crazytrain's journal I think we'll have a similar harvest per plant. I'm still very excited to see what happens over the next couple weeks.

The runt hempy. This plant has been through too much to describe. We've dropped it and spilled it and over nuted it, everything. Now it's bouncing back. Hoping to get an eighter out of it :P

Other larger hempy. Nodes are all stacked neatly with a few bidding offshoots that are sticking close to the center. Hoping that this means a lot of bud.

New girl! So far so good. Hoping that starting her in the tent environment will help her to grow faster than the other hempy's did.

Eleanor. My original plant. This one has branched a bit and stretched a bit but is filling out nicely. Haven't had to worry much about her but a few of her leaves dried up so I pulled them off. Haven't had any other problems really.

Eleanor's private parts.

Fiona. My cousin's original plant. This one has exploded and branched all over the place. This one will probably yield the most but it's pretty spread out. Not that we really care. Biggest plant by far and our favorite for yield guesses.

Fiona's top.

The forest!

Hope that's enough pot porn for you guys. Enjoy!

Guessing the biggest one is going to yield about 15 grams dried bud if you only let it go to 60 days, but if you give it 10-11 weeks it will be 25 grams. thats my guess. Did you get feminized seeds or have you been lucky with the ladies? I am getting about 60% females so your one plant per week for a continuous harvest would not work with my seeds. Just read the whole thread and it looks like you are doing pretty well for your first grow. It will get better and better. Just think how nice they would be if you started them out in your current setup.

Thanks for the post and advice edcocks! We both were really surprised and happy to hear that yield estimate. We bought fem seeds but the next order I'm getting 10 normals. My plan is to use the box as seen in previous pics, find a pair, and make some beans out of them.

The big plant is booming with growth, I'll post pics in a day or two. The other potted plant is very limited with growth. I think I messed her up with nutes. I imagine we'll still get a few grams from her. She hasn't really grown much for several days. The hempy's are looking good. The big one had two of it's leaves turn bright yellow. I flushed it then added a mild nut solution. The rest of the plant still looks really good. It's bud is starting to fill in a bit and it's smelly.

I noticed the seedling has 3 nodes so far stacked up. The largest one has a little bit of brown on the edges. I hadn't added any nutes so i increased the distance from the lights. The CFL's do get a little warm near the top.

Putting the new dudes into a 3 gallon trashcan soil/perlite hempy. Just going to see what happens and let them grow! We'll figure out how/where to flower later lols.

So going to be honest I got a little greedy and popped a little chunk off of my plant, the dying potted one. Straight to the dome with a bird's eye view.

Cheers!

Don't know what you mean by "popped a chunk" but it if means you smoked some some then take so
e Tylenol for the headache that ensues. You guys should just bite the bullet and get a 400watt hps. Looks like you got a little farm going there. Just saying you will probably save some money if you make the plunge now before you spend more and more $ on more CFL's as you crop demands. I learned my lesson in search of the highest yeild.

Heh I didn't get a headache but it definitely wasn't worth it.

I'd like to invest in an HPS but most likely won't have the money until summer. We've sorta exploded out of our original plans as this whole medicinal/legal process is sorted out. For now we're more than happy but we'll continue to improve the setup. After this first harvest I'm going to use all hempy's and try a more sea-of-green approach. Then once that's over I'll probably have enough saved to invest in a nice HPS setup.

Thanks for the advice as always! We're trying to learn as fast as we can and get this thing going full swing.

Pics for sure this weekend.

What did the triches look like? your time period is a little bit under 2 months, usually lowryders are good if you give them 9-10 weeks! still look very tasty! congrats on the harvest, this grow gives a new name to GROW TENT!!!!

That bud looks pretty nice! let us know on a weight on that nugget. I pulled a side nugget off my smallest lowryder2 and it had a dried weight of 3 grams!! looks like my runt (about 16 inches) is still growing at 10 weeks is going to yield over an ounce with 250watt HPS! My 40 day old is a monster(at least 24 inches) and will be a much higher yield. I bet that little runt of yours would have looked cool at 10 weeks. Bet it would have looked like one fat 9 inch bud. I have noted that insults in early grow are what determine final height, but the shorties still yield about 15 grams of good bud. thanks for the updates.
