Hey all, weekly update!

Its now week 11 since the clone rooted, and also when i am starting the flush.
I refilled the res with ph'd rain water (we had rain the other day so i collected about 20L :) )
i have checked trichs with the microscope lens and at least half are cloudy with a couple of ambers here n there so im calling it.
Plus i need to finish this one up soon in prep for the bubblegum clones i should be getting very soon :mrgreen:
I found a new res im gunna use next, its a 2L "klip-it" container which fits perfectly in the case.

anyway heres the pics!

Looking good baskarz. I noticed your roots look like they went through two different growth spurts. I am experiencing something similar. I had four clones in my box but three overgrew the one of them so I stuck it in some potting soil and am flowering outside. This gave me more space and I ended up getting a 150w hps to flower with. Now I am getting root growth in unused areas of the netty pots (I imagine size affects this also). As soon as these one are done my potted plants should be ready to flower if not to big. Your micro grow is looking really dank.

hey thanks for all the kind words guys!
Pathfinder, i wouldn't go as far as hangin on my every word :P i am far from expert at growing, this is my first grow with dwc hydro and only second grow overall.
Southtexasman, i used only a rockwool cube and nothing else... the netcup is made from one of those seedling tubes u get seedlings in at the garden center so it fits a small rockwool cube nicely :)
Noneed4me2, i noticed the different growth spurts in root growth too, last few weeks tho it hasnt done much but in the last couple of days it is drinking about 200mL of water a day.

heres some trichome porn for yas! :)
been playin with an old microscope lens held i front of me camera haha not the clearest but still look cool!

I thought if it stayed wet it could cause the stem to rot away? But that's what I thought! And one more question how big is u Rez? It looks kinda small? How afton do u have to add water to that? I just mad a lil Rez that holds like 1/2 gal of water just cuz I didn't want to hit the net cup


Scrach half that last question I read how big the Rex was but how much water would u say ur ladybud drinks in a week?

I would have to say about 150ml per day give or take. The res is a recycled baby wipes tub, next grow will be in a tub nearly twice the size.

Thanks and good luck on ur next one can't wait to c it!!! Yea mine I got slime build up on the roots do I got a lil problem im fixing but first one so c what happens... I Belive I have some light getting in to the rez so be careful.

Hey microcultivator, I haven't harvested yet, still another 3-5 days before I pull it out.
I'm estimating between 1/4 to 1/2 oz dry... I hope :)

I painted the new res with black plastic paint then sprayed the lid with chrome paint to try reflect some light back. (I ran out of reflective tape and can't find any cheap enough)

hey all, well last night was chop down.
after trimming it all up i got 52 grams wet.
ive got it all on a quickly made drying rack in the cab.
im a bit worried at the moment tho cos our temps are like 18C at the moment and RH has been around 90%.
ive cranked all the fans up flat out in an attempt to dry the air out a little and prevent any mold issues.
hopefully that works :)
will post dry weight when its dry.

Gunna do it right this time and dry it slowly and cure properly, wanna keep that smell and hopefully it tastes as good as it smells :D

Harvest time is always fun but curing is such an important part that alot of growers seem to neglect cause waiting sux. Have you sampled at all? Hope you get the 1/2 oz dry.

Nah haven't sampled yet. Might try quick dry one of the popcorn buds n see what its like. What is the best way to quick dry a bud for sampling? I considered putting it in a paper bag on the dash of me car or somewhere in the sun?
what do u guys think?
