I have two 200W CFLs, a warm white and cool white, i am in 12/12 and using the warm white. can i use my cool white aswell even though they different light spectrums? i have one plant, is all this light too much? will i be better off with just the one?

A lot of people use both spectrum's at once..That way you flower while you still get growth.... I haven't tried myself..

nah, i started with two WW seeds and hoped for the best. one male one female, first grow and stealth growing under my stairs, just checked temp, reading around 87-88 degrees. too hot right? (no Co2)

Keep the light it is much better for the plant to have both spectrums of light. It will benefit from both spectrums. The cool will keep the growth compact while the warm will aid in flowering. Can you add ne more ventilation or put frozen water bottles near intake or in your cab?

more wattage is important, specially with CFLs! use both those bulbs.

you will notice something as you read and learn... HPS is the "right" spectrum for flowering... yet many people use MH lights for flowering.... MH is the blue spectrum and generally considered to be for veg growth... yet these people get obviously good results using the "wrong" lights for flower.... moral is: wattage makes a bigger difference than light spectrum ;)

further evidence... LED grows are the right spectrum.... but they just dont have the wattage to do enough.

will keep the light, been keeping an eye on it and the temp has dropped to around 84-85 degrees. its pretty hard work to get in and out of my grow space, so me being in the room brings the temp up by 2-3 degrees. got no set intake and out take, my room is weired, the is a hole in the floor that is my intake with a fan next to it. will try the bottles and check my temps.

Cheers
