I just setup my new grow cabinet. I need to know if the following setup will work ok for the following:

Vegatative
6 CFLs at 6500K 75watt each
2 CFLs at 5300K 100watt each
About 13000 Lumens

When I switch to flowering i will have the following
4 CFLs at 3200k 125watt each
2 CFLs at 3200k 150watt each
About 15000 Lumens

This setup will be for White Satin. The cabinet is about 46 High X 17 Deep X 25 Wide

THANKS FOR THE HELP!

Also.. If anyone has grown white satin how long have you left in vegetative state before switching over to flowering?

I dont know if I have the cooling required to run HPS. I have one fan running out to a carbon filter and only a vent to let air back in.

I guess I will try this first grow and see what happens. I will probably screw it up anyway.

Good luck. I too am using cfl's right now. I am growing 2 plants in a area not that much bigger than yours. And right now they are under just 3 small cfl's and they are doin great. I am going to switch to an HPS light for flowering. Try and make some reflectors for the cfl's and you will be amazed at what they can do. They need reflectors to get the most out of the light they produce. And keep them as close to the tops of the plant as you can. I keep mine about 1inch from mine, but they probably don't put out the heat that yours does. The only thing that i don't like about the cfl's is that you have to reset them everyday and that gets monotunous.
