CFL single plant purple kush grow

First time growing, don't expect large return just getting comfortable with growing. I plan on LST due to space. This is my current set up:

15'' deep
15'' wide
30'' tall
2x 4'' fans
3x 75w CFL 6500k
1 gallon bucket
lights can be raised when needed
2 vents in the back with screens over them
Fox Farm soil
Fox Farm 3 part nute system
loving tender care

should i raise the plant up about an inch or two?

Is the plant too far, too close, or right amount of distance from the lights?

Little update...changed my light setup and start LST

With these dimensions being somewhat similar to mine, I'm sure a small HPS would do just fine. Build your own, it is not difficult if you can follow instructions and use a pair of wire cutters. I spent a grand total of $56 for my ballast, socket, cord and bulb. The places to hit up are electrical supply places that sell as close to whole sale as possible. They usually deal with contractors with large accounts, so sometimes it can be a hassle finding a store that will quote you just ONE kit. It's all in how you go about it, though. One thing, if you do upgrade to an HID light source you WILL need more ventilation. It'll get hot quick..And passive airflow won't cut it.

Yeah if I end up getting a HPS ill definitely be getting a different vent source. I think for this grow I'll see how everything goes, then when the Del Mar fair comes around I'll get one of those grow tents they sell :] for my next grow which ill use HPS.

i have 11 seedlings under two of those lights so your plant is getting way more lumens than my grow....great job

That's the ticket. Work with what you got. Right now you have plenty to sustain the one plant. Those grow tents are a cool investment. I can't give any big hoots about them, however. They are very portable and versatile, but I have always preferred using rigid materials. It is great if you want something you don't have to build thats basically plug and play.

It depends on what height the plant is entering flowering. A plant usually doubles or sometimes triples in height by the end of flowering. Having an indica dominant, you could safely assume closer to double. So, if you want an over-all height of 28" shoot for 14" at the start of flowering. Since you are using LST, results won't be that typical, however.

Had an extra pot laying around and lots of Fox Farm soil so decided to add another plant to my grow. Now I'll have Purple Kush and Blue Dream. I have also place the lights higher from the leaves due to the fact that I burned several leaves, im so sorry

Little update ladies and gentlemen...
Felt the plants weren't very comfortable so I bought another fan to blow on the lights to eliminate the heat factor completely. Moved the plants around, tied some more branches down, and repositioned the lights. My current light setup is 6x 75w CFL's -1900 lumens each.

I'm going to be flowering these both at the same time and curious on others input on how I should grow the Blue Dream to obtain maximum yield. Should I bother with lst'ing it or should I continue to grow it as it is and straight up since it's 2 weeks behind the Purple Kush? Or does will the 2 weeks not make that big of a difference?

Little update, I've been dealing with heat in such a small space and all the lights, so I'm going to be building a larger cabinet and switching to LED, 2x 55w panels.
