CFL Veg to HID Bloom Transition

Hi RIU - Wondering if vegging under cfl's and flowering under 600w HPS causes light intensity issues with the girls? Should there be a period of darkness before the flip? Beautiful veg after 30+ days then issues with flowering. DWC. PH 6.0, PPMs 800. Jungle Juice 3 part. calmag and 1/4 strength liquid kool blom.

there shouldn't be any issues, some people do a 24 hour darkness before starting 12/12 believing it induces flowering faster but there is not substantial evidence that it works or is even beneficial

I do give them about 36 hr of dark, I donno I like that better. Keep the lights at a higher level if you think your plants aren't strong enough and you can lower them as you go.

Keep your light higher than normal for the first week to let your plants "harden" up for the first week. After that week they should be fine for regular lighting from a HID
