CFL vs HPS lighting

I am going to be doing a closet grow (27'' x 43'' x 8') soon and I want your opinions on lighting. With being new, I am on a budget. For the price would you suggest CFL's or a low watt HPS (400 max.), or a combination of the two. I am growing for personal use, so I am more interested in quality vs quantity when it comes to my smoke.

Go with the 400 hps, plus you can get a MH conv. bulb for it too, so you can use it for veg and flowering. With the space you have, you wont regret getting the HPS, I"m using a 600 watt in a lil bit smaller space than that.
