with 252 watts CFL i could yield almost 3/4Oz (1/2-3/4avg) at best with pure skunks....with a 600 hps its was over a zip reg.... 1.5 oz in good conditions.

but i miss the cfl grows in a way..the bud quality is high and there is no heat issues....if its all i had id use em again hands down.

that is a hard question to answer. there are alot of things that go into growing other than the lights. it also can depend on how many of them you use. i have seen more successful grows using cfl's than other methods and vice versa. its just not that simple of a question or answer. growing done the right way will produce good results you can have the best hps and shitty wattage cfls but if you do the right things during growing with the cfls and not with the hps then your cfl results will more than likely be better. i do tend to agree though that if you have the same setup under the same conditions that cfl's will yield less although not much less than other lighting methods. hope this helps and even this is not a detailed enough description.

You can pull off a shitload if you know what your doing. My friend pulled 2oz off one plant(But the catch is one plant with lots of light). It doesn't matter about the type of light, its more about Color Temp. and Lumens. In some cases not even Lumens. 6500k color temp for Veg, and 2.5k for flowering. And If I remember right, its something like 4000k lumen minimum per plant.
