cfls cost to bill??

hey was up can some one that lives in california or anywere else taht has used cfls for long periods of times like 18 6 or 12 12 tell me how much it added to there bill..thanks

cfls use way less enery in watts than incandesant. i changed all the bulbs in my house to cfl and set up my cfl grow of 6 x 26w 4x 42w 2x65w and my bill is still cheaper than using all incadesant for the house with no grow :mrgreen: hope this helped

I just finished up a CFL grow earlier this year using 10- 42 watt cfls.. My bill went up about $15/month. Not bad I think.. and certainly not suspicious.

my electric bill went up only 40 bucks but thats cuz i had to use a lot of AC... it doesnt help that i live in florida and have a constant fight over heat in my grow room...

yeah cfls are great for good light with low cost. im using cfls for my grow and my bill has hardly even gone up, possibly not at all.

i did the same... spent less on power AND get several oz's a few tuimes a year for....... NADDA!

now thats saving some scratch. more for less ;)
