I was just talking to someone and we were having a conversation about CFLs. Can you get dense buds from CFLs(or in my case Flourex CFLs) between 13000-14000 lumens. I think they put out more of a bluish spectrum. Can anyone answer this for me? Or is it in the genes of the plant?

Of course it all comes down to gense. some plants just dont yield as much.
And lighting will make a big difference.

You can get a dense plant id you put the lights close enough and have enough of them. Maybe around 400 watt per suare feet.

But if you say your bulb is giving out a blueish light then that is a veg light, you'll want a reddish light of around 2700k to flower.

for dense nugs with cfl's you need a color temp of 3000k or so, the blue spectrums are better for veg (5500k and up) but then again cfl's and dense nugs doesn't quite sound right
