im planning my first grow, kinda tight on cash, and i would like to know the cheapest way to get the most light. im looking to start a perpetual harvest and i need enough light to harvest 3-4 oz a week. i still havent decided how many plants i want to grow but i know i will harvest more if i grow more plants at a faster rate, so im thinking about doing that. its going to be in my closest where there isnt much floor space, its something like 4x6. ive already bought a few 50w cfls but at 10 bucks a rip and even more cast for a light socket im not sure if i should buy more or save for the hps system.. any ideas?

I have both CFL's (315 watt Multi Spectrum) and 400 watt HPS/MH and they both work.

You will not get the yield you are indicating with the CLF's. :weed:

if you're using the whole area then I wouldn't even try doing CFLs. It would be way more expensive to give all the plants the same amount of light for all the sockets, bulbs, and other cords you have to buy. A 250W or 400W would be perfect. 400W if you wanna get hardcore.
