So I've got a 450 cfm 150mm carbon filter... I would like to run a air cooled hood from the same fan thats working the filter... I was told a 250 cfm fan should do the job, But I don't want any problems popping up later. If I need a 450 cfm fan to match the filter what 150mm fan is capable of 450 cfm??? I've never seen any 150mm fans over 260 cfm... I Need a fan soon and would appreciate the help. Obviously I want the filter and fan to work to their potential, not under or over. And since the reflector will be cooled by the same fan I need to be confident It can do the job... Cheers + Rep for Good info

I'm sure you could, but if you can buy a 440 cfm inline fan, why would you want to?
What's the dimensions of your grow room?

That's approximately 60cf, a 450cfm fan would be over kill IMO.
It's recommended that you have a total exchange of the air of your room every 4-5 minutes.
A 450cfm fan would create a lot of negative air pressure your tent would not like!
