Ch-ch-ch-check it out!!!

Alright i have 2 plants unknown strains. i recieved them from a friend who was giving them nutes from the very begining.... yes watering seed with nutes :wall:

Anyways i have them in ph'ed water with a airstone right between the netpots, so my question is one of the plants has some yellowing on new growth, is this something a little calmag can fix? today i will be putting them in the 10 gal rubermaid with a pump ans sprayer in the bottom with ph'ed DI water, could i start 1/4 strength veg nutes? im using technafloras recipe for success kit.

The first doesnt have as much yellowing, all help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like normal new growth. It always looks a lot lighter/yellower. I wouldn't worry about it. In fact it looks pretty good. Now you should start giving it some nutes in very low dosages.

Heres another question.... im using ph drops to read my ph would it be smart to buy a ph pen? or spend the money on a ppm (TDS) pen and keep using the drops?

Its overwatering due to the rw cube staying saturated under the hydroton. Remove the hydroton from the top of the cube and reduce flooding, no more than 2 a day.

update the plants are now in the rubbermaid, ive been giving them 1/4 strength nutes the sprayers turn on for 30 min every 2 hours, let me know if you guys see anything....
