Does anybody know if there is certain point in a females plant cycle that it is more susceptible to becoming a hermie or can this happen at any time ? I do no stress can lead to this are there any other factors ?

It can pretty much happen at any time in the plants life cycle, from germination to harvest. As you rightly say, stress is the main factor in hermaphroditism the more stress the plant receives the more chance the plant will start to reverse sex.

The best way to avoid any chances of this happening is to reduce down any likely causes of stress to the plant - give it adequate lighting levels, give it proper ventilation and co2, water it correctly and regularly, ensure you don't over-fertilise or under-fertilise with nutrients, maintain a regular uninterupted lighting schedule etc.

Anything that stresses the plant increases the chances of it reversing sex.
