I'm switch to better lighting and I wanted to know if there was anything out there like a starter kit ( maybe on Amazon etc ) that anyone could recommend for a beginner. Would need light, ballast, cord , reflector etc included. Probably only for about 4 plants now
Any help is appreciated

Ps - also what should I be changing too for flowering 3 plants after using 300 CFL watts and about 6500k lumens for these in veg
Im not the one to advise you on lights etc but dont forget to take into account your avg summer ambient temp.
Its easy to keep the big stuff cool in a cool climate but if your in a warmer environment ( Australia, Asia, India etc) it could get difficult and maybe even expensive to keep it at optimum temps.

On subject of 15 amp 100 watts equals around 1 amp so a 600 watt would be around a little of 6 amps above at 120 volts this is not exact but I think Iam close

If you have got the money i would advice on getting some kind,of cool vented hood or tube,Un-less you have a decent sized out let and in let.Yes there are plenty of hps starter kits i would go with hps,not hid

Think he's referring to the built in cooling fan that they all have :).
Yer im sure mine is just cooled through a series of metal cooling fins and not a fan, if the fan fails then im guessing your electrics overheat or somthing bad. I will have to check that theres no fan in my digi as it has no cooling vents to speak off.

Oh right, some don't I guess, all mine have a fan plus cooling fins. Actually the first 400 I had had no fan. Just assumed they all did .... Oops!!!
