Changing light cycle

So i am in my last week of veg , and am doing an 18-6 light cycle lights on at 530 pm - off at 930am ... so they have been sleeping during the day .

for flowering i will obviously switch to a 12 12 cycle but i want the lights to come on at 9am and go off at 9pm so in between the light cycles i will either have to leave the lights on extra or off extra ... is this going to shock my plants ? and which should i do ?

If your lights were on from 5:30 pm to 9:30 am then that's only 16 hour of light, not 18. When you want to change to 12/12, just turn the lights off at 9:30 am for the final time and don't turn them back on until 9:00 am the next day.-P

wow .... how stoner of me .... of ive been vegging on a 16/8 light cycle for 2 weeks .... plants look great though , you think i should up it to 18/6 for the last week or leave it ?

If your going to switch to 12/12 within 1 or 2 weeks then just leave the light cycle alone until then. Everytime you change the light cycle it takes the plant about 2 weeks to fully adjust to the new light schedule. You'll be alright.-P

I just took these .... they are about 10-13 inches tall ... its day 15 of veg .... what do you guys think?

when you go to flip to 12/12 just leave the lights off for anywhere upto 48hours, it will extremely kick start the flowering process and they will show very quickly
