Some will say its pointless and is not good for them.
I know when it comes to outdoors they seems to miss something if they do not get cold weather.

If your plant has the genetics which make it prone to anthocyanin accumulation, you can make it turn purple by dropping the temperatures in the growing environment down below 50 degrees . Some plants will turn purple with the slightest temp drop, but for some its just not possible;)

nothing lower than 65 or they start getting hardcore cold stress. 65 is fine for the last 2 weeks thats what i do.

I'm telling you I know you will hear don't do it.

This is going by outdoors. Several strains were better after a few frosts.
The cold hardiest was a 100% tropical sativa. It purpled the best and was fiiire.
Go figure.

I did a bomb thc indoors. At the end I cracked the window, it was winter.
It turned purple and had twice the frost as the previous. Both looked close in pheno and structure.

The hell with what you hear, give it a go.

Its not how cold they get. It is how fast they warm up.
