Canadian White BearsWhat are you likely to encounter on the main in Churchill that you would need a firearm for?
most obtuse comment today..i'm afraid to ask @Budley Doright.I am not of the sort to worry about the government taking guns away, I collect all types of weapons. I am in favor of the most easy measures that conservative government here will hear nothing.
As far as “hand guns whose sole purpose and design is to kill people”, as a Canadian you would be a fool not to arm yourself to the teeth while strolling down Main Street in Churchill before the sea freezes.
I am not a pro gun for every one. I wish everyone with a firearm needed exactly the same or more stringent training, licensing, and registration every year for a new tax sticker for his or her weapons. Basic insurance should also be mandatory. Mmkay? Have a Happy Easter and stay stoned
We each have all three ... jeesh lol.notice how they have the white bears while we have the black and brown bears.
Churchill Manitoba has a problem with bears because they can no longer go out on pack ice ....... global warming is a hoax.most obtuse comment today..i'm afraid to ask @Budley Doright.
That makes sense, I thought you meant you could need a gun just incase of gun toting lunatics on the Main St lolCanadian White Bears
i just had to fvck with you..i still don't get the Churchill St. thing..American..guilty!We each have all three ... jeesh lol.
Well you don't sound like someone to be concerned over, basically raised w/guns,you know the code required, and the responsibility that carrying a firearm entails,I'm pretty sure it's the same sit. we've been rappin about w/cops how a few bad ones ruin it for everyone else. Pretty much the same w/guns I'm sure over 90% understand the privilege and responsibilty that comes with it, but inevitably what to do about the % who carrying a firearm around becomes an exstension of their penis, those are the ones that worry me and you know that they exist out there.ccIn the State I live in a concealed carry permit is NOT required to carry concealed. The Governor just signed the bill making it law!! I carry a Glock 17 under my shirt. I have been shooting since I was a child. I used to have a ccw but don’t need it now. The only caveat is that your weapon must be in the open carry loaded status, meaning it will take 2 mechanical actions before it will fire. i.e. on a semi auto your magazine can be loaded but you can’t have a bullet in the chamber. On a wheel gun you must leave the next cylinder empty, therefore 2 mechanical actions required to fire your revolver.
tbh I am more afraid of those momentary lapses that occur by people who are generally responsible people. Those fatally rare random moments that shit happens because that is just the reality of life.Well you don't sound like someone to be concerned over, basically raised w/guns,you know the code required, and the responsibility that carrying a firearm entails,I'm pretty sure it's the same sit. we've been rappin about w/cops how a few bad ones ruin it for everyone else. many, many, and many more times fatal gun incidents occur simply because access was there.ccgunstbh I am more afraid of those momentary lapses that occur by people who are generally responsible people. Those fatally rare random moments that shit happens because that is just the reality of life.
Even nonlethal. How much money do you think we have wasted as a society on fixing people after they got accidentally shot.many, many, and many more times fatal gun incidents occur simply because access was there.ccguns
and the thin blue line is NOT standing with him- nice that they have diversity..Chauvin was a bad hire and a racist. the kiss of death was his wife filing for divorce immediately. she knows him best which is why she wasn't going to stand beside him either. They're just proving that he was in a more fragile state than the average person, which is true, so it's fine. It doesn't really matter because Chauvin's actions are completely unreasonable even for a person in perfect health.
it's going to come down to degree.Word. The only way he's not guilty, of manslaughter at the minimum, is if someone with ulterior motive slipped through on the jury. I haven't watched every minute of the trial, but there's been nothing new/unexpected on the defense side. On the prosecution side though, it's been much better than expected with zero police support trying to mental gymnastics their way into defending his actions, which, I don't know about you, but I was pretty certain we'd see some of that. Instead it's been, "nope, we don't even know this fucker".
Just watched Af. American Police chief in Minneapolis, testify, he's polite, knowledgeable, and well spoken. I get confused when I juxtapose this chief, the senior man on the force a homicide LT. who testified friday, along w/the friendly/good natured disposition that is common in the state of Minnesota with the seemingly nasty, super aggressive nature of the police in the trenches as this is not the first jaw dropping incident to take place in Minnesota.ccgunsWord.
