Chauvin Trial

I am not of the sort to worry about the government taking guns away, I collect all types of weapons. I am in favor of the most easy measures that conservative government here will hear nothing.
As far as “hand guns whose sole purpose and design is to kill people”, as a Canadian you would be a fool not to arm yourself to the teeth while strolling down Main Street in Churchill before the sea freezes.
I am not a pro gun for every one. I wish everyone with a firearm needed exactly the same or more stringent training, licensing, and registration every year for a new tax sticker for his or her weapons. Basic insurance should also be mandatory. Mmkay? Have a Happy Easter and stay stoned;)
most obtuse comment today..i'm afraid to ask @Budley Doright.

Had to look up the town, lol'ed that polar bears actually were an issue. Sounds like a sweet place to visit but wouldn't want to live there.

In the State I live in a concealed carry permit is NOT required to carry concealed. The Governor just signed the bill making it law!! I carry a Glock 17 under my shirt. I have been shooting since I was a child. I used to have a ccw but don’t need it now. The only caveat is that your weapon must be in the open carry loaded status, meaning it will take 2 mechanical actions before it will fire. i.e. on a semi auto your magazine can be loaded but you can’t have a bullet in the chamber. On a wheel gun you must leave the next cylinder empty, therefore 2 mechanical actions required to fire your revolver.
Well you don't sound like someone to be concerned over, basically raised w/guns,you know the code required, and the responsibility that carrying a firearm entails,I'm pretty sure it's the same sit. we've been rappin about w/cops how a few bad ones ruin it for everyone else. Pretty much the same w/guns I'm sure over 90% understand the privilege and responsibilty that comes with it, but inevitably what to do about the % who carrying a firearm around becomes an exstension of their penis, those are the ones that worry me and you know that they exist out there.cc

tbh I am more afraid of those momentary lapses that occur by people who are generally responsible people. Those fatally rare random moments that shit happens because that is just the reality of life.

you know what else causes high carbon dioxide? having your head laying down by the exhaust pipe for 9 minutes while two people sat on your back and another on your neck while being handcuffed behind your back.

that's what else causes it.

They're just proving that he was in a more fragile state than the average person, which is true, so it's fine. It doesn't really matter because Chauvin's actions are completely unreasonable even for a person in perfect health.

I lived in Kansas city for a while, never have I seen so much irresponsible gun use, mostly drunk folks in the club. Generally I am pretty pro gun, but boy howdy they made me rethink that position.

and the thin blue line is NOT standing with him- nice that they have diversity..Chauvin was a bad hire and a racist. the kiss of death was his wife filing for divorce immediately. she knows him best which is why she wasn't going to stand beside him either.

there literally is no one there for him except his attorney and attorney admin.

Word. The only way he's not guilty, of manslaughter at the minimum, is if someone with ulterior motive slipped through on the jury. I haven't watched every minute of the trial, but there's been nothing new/unexpected on the defense side. On the prosecution side though, it's been much better than expected with zero police support trying to mental gymnastics their way into defending his actions, which, I don't know about you, but I was pretty certain we'd see some of that. Instead it's been, "nope, we don't even know this fucker".

Just watched Af. American Police chief in Minneapolis, testify, he's polite, knowledgeable, and well spoken. I get confused when I juxtapose this chief, the senior man on the force a homicide LT. who testified friday, along w/the friendly/good natured disposition that is common in the state of Minnesota with the seemingly nasty, super aggressive nature of the police in the trenches as this is not the first jaw dropping incident to take place in Minnesota.ccguns
