cops have special protections under the law and their union has enough lawyers to make sure those protections are enforced beyond any rational sense of justice.
I'm dubious that they will be able to make the charges stick. This country is going to explode when he gets off. I hope I'm wrong.

Sorry man, but seems to me you are in fact correct.
I am actually very curious to see the protests are handled under the current admin vs the prior. I think things are gonna burn and sadly see it as necessary.

Yes me to on both counts, I'd hate to see civil unrest but I'd hate to see that fuckers walk free, it did cross my mind that the system/authorities are caught between a rock and a hard place.

No they're not armed (tf) most forces have a armed response unit for anything gun related which is almost non existant.

I seen a video a few years ago of exactly that, the cop shot a man running away from him, he then approached him and threw down a handgun next to him, someone walking in the park caught the whole incident.
Iirc the mayor of the town was interviewed and admitted to the problem of what he described as a "Saturday night piece"
Reading between the lines individual's in the police carry illegal guns incase they decide to shoot you... Illegally!
Defense is the dick and he's looking for trouble- he also picks his boogers..he was also leading yesterday with the clerk/$20 bill. clerk raises to light but doesn't know what he's looking for and Defense made suggestions but the kid didn't get it anyway so it didn't work.
what i don't get is why the manager didn't let it go and have the kid pay for it- those are the rules..the clerk even offered as it was standard practice.
