Ok guys bout to build my new light. Here's my basic list of what I will need. Please correct and give opinions.
16 ×CLU-048-1212 3500k 90cri
4×HLG-185h-1400b drivers
4×Heatsinks 5.88"×36"
2×200k ohm dimmer
16×Ideal cob holders
Do I need thermal pads and relfectors?
If there's anything better that I need please let me know. Like I said all opinions are definitely wanted.
Use thermal paste to be safe, and keep in mind you are loading those drivers a tiny bit over 100%. Should be OK, but don't be surprised if it isn't. Like I've said before, these can be a little awkward on Meanwell drivers currents if you want ~50W.

I want the best light I can build for the price. What do u think could go wrong and how can I alleviate it? Do I need better (more expensive ) cobs?

Have you ever built and ran a CLU048 led at 1400Ma? What do u mean running over 100%. Aren't they rated for 2.76Ma maximum.

I'm a new in the led world. As you can easily tell. I'm great at engineering and wiring/installing electrical circuits and equipment. Though I've never built an led light it seems to be basic circuitry. Ok someone please tell my what drivers I need? Can these cobs only be ran at 1050Ma with drivers running safely. Safety is always first for me. I ordered 20 of the CLU048-1212 cobs. I just want to get the maximum amount of lumens out each cob while doing it in a very safe manner. Anyone please tell me what to do?

I -think- he meant 2x50K, two drivers on each but umm...yeah. Yeah.
I'm not even gone try to lie and say uh yeah thats what I meant! Naw my math was just all fucked up. So I need 2×50k dimmers. I understand I can put 2 drivers on each. Thanks for the info. I'm very grateful.

Looking at Citizen's simulator (it's up on their website and it's around here somewhere too), @1400mah the 1212 pulls 36.6, which puts it just over the 185h-c1400's 143v maximum. I'm looking at a similar build.

So what will remedy this problem. More drivers with only 2 cobs on each driver instead of 4 or run 4 cobs per driver but only at 1050Ma. Told yall I'm a newb!

I see that now, I was basing my thinking on my HLG 185h -C1050b. So the 240H would be the better choice?
