Cheap CFL grow - $40 in supplies total

These plants are only about 1.5' tall. They didn't get too much light during VEG...and even then it was all CFL lights. 10 total CFL and fluoro's now. I have:

(2) 24" Fluorescent fixtures. 1 is a 5000k sunshine rated bulb and 3500k plant&aquarium bulb.

(9) CFL's. - (7) 3000k, (2) 6500k for better spectrum.


Soil is Miracle Grow Organic - for tomatoes & herbs. Works great. I did have a nute burn in the 4th week of vegetative state.

Plants got only 30 days of total veg and were forced flower. They were forced into flowering Nov 5th or 35 days ago. I use a trace amount of MG bloom booster during watering..probably 10% mixture.

Any advice or comments please feel free to post - For the pictures below there is only 2 plants and a ferret...My plant on the left column is called "Monster" and the plant in the right column is called "bigGuy". Ferret is named sammy. At this point "Monster" is a full week ahead of "bigGuy" even though Monster was originally planted a full week BEFORE bigGuy! Monster's buds are completely loaded with Trichs. I have a pocket microscope and the trichs are about 50% clear, 45% cloudy and 5% amber.

Here are more pictures of Monster...the plant that is ahead of schedule. A few people told me that she'll need at least 2-3 weeks of more flowering...I think they are ready so I'm thinking about chopping the top 1/3rd of the plant off and then giving the bottom 2/3rd another week or 2. Any advice or suggestions? The trichs are looking ripe...

When are you going to harvest? Did you make any clones?

where u get your supplies? thats cheap! what ferts u use and how long in veg?
