Cheap NPK nutes + some advanced or just expensive NPK nutes?

So I have been debating what I should do about nutes... I'm about to grow an unidentified strain from some mids I had. Also, this is my first time growing individually, so I don't want to sink tons of money into this project.

I was considering general hydroponics go box starter because it is such a good price. I also like the flora series performance pack, it's about 10 dollars extra.

But I wondered, are these going to be better than say the fox farm trio that runs ~47 on amazon? Or maybe you have another suggestion that is around the same price. I just got a debt collection notice for $6,700 because of school loans, so 200 dollar bundles (actually anything over $50) are a no go.

Thanks for any advice!

Just get you some dyna-gro. It's simple cheap and complete. If you order direct from them you can get 11oz bottles of foliage pro and dyna bloom delivered to your door for around $15. That's for both!

I have tried a few brands of cannabis specific nutes and none compare to dyna products. I grow for a living and this shit works well for me.

I use Jack's Classic 20-20-20 all purpose for veg $18 for 1 1/2 lbs, and 10-30-20 for bloom $12 for 1 1/2 lbs. It's a better product than any of the brightly colored bottles I've used before.

Why NOT give Bio-Bizz a go, for just over $22 on FleaBay you can get the Try Packs(are only 250ml Bottles-But will get you through a whole Grow) I use the OUTDOOR TRY PACK which is FISH MIX / BLOOM / TOP MAX, but You can also get the INDOOR TRY PACK which is GROW / BLOOM / TOPMAX

atb

Edit: I use the OUTDOOR one indoors, seen better results with Fish Mix than Grow, But IF you get this one, Don't spill it....it STINKS!!!

if you contact general hydroponics they will send you the go box or the flora series with additives for the price of shipping instead of paying 40 online for the same set

I am sold on hydroponics research veg&bloom. It's an all in one powder. Start off low and gradually increase your ppm. Till your vegging at around 800ppm then start increasing again when your in flower. Usually by the third week of flower I'm up to 1500ppm and I stay there till I'm done. I do add some calmag during flower.

Ur best bet is a fertile soil mix u make urself or I have used MG Organic Choice with success and plain old Miracle Grow fertilizer used at half strength indoors or full strength outdoors. Forget the high priced nutes it's not worth the cost. Also some Epsom salts, lime and Superthrive. Good luck.

Apparently when I bought the general hydroponics ph adjusters, I also bought the flora series. I thought I took it out of the cart, but no haha. So I guess that's what I'll be going with for a little while! Thanks for the recommendations though, I have written them down so I can try something new later on :)
