how much should it cost to set up a closet grow with cfl bulbs, the plant is growing in soil in natural sunlight with a bit of tomatoe food thrown in which was fine when we got a heatwave here, but its going back to shitty uk weather and need to supplement the plant with artificial lighting, im thinking cfls as im told they are cheap, its more of an experiment to me as its my first time giving growing a crack, plant seems to be a female sativa and is about 50 cm tall. help appreciated

I got a 600 watt cooltube shipped for 187..... cfl route, I have 24 23 watt bulbs I made in a hood it fits in a double stacked Rubbermaid and yields a lb with a 20" box fan from wall mart for ventilation pushing a little over 2000 cfm....total cost for the Rubbermaid grow less than 100 including soil and nutes.......I would get the hps if you can though

The grow box in my sig cost me less than $200 to build but retail no higher than $400.

It will grow 4 medium plants or one large plant.

I feel a particular bond with UK growers being a grower in the Pacific North West, we have the same shitty weather.
