cheap vac device for BHO

I saw a video where a guy used an inexpensive plastic container device as his purge device for BHO. Where can one find an inexpensive vacuum device for this purpose? Thanks a lot!
 
my current plan is to purchase a nalgene water aspirator, and rig it up with a pint mason jar, covered with epoxy, and placed under a lexan shield (in the event of a glass chamber implosion).

I'm skippin my next 2 packs of cigs to buy this little aspirator. I'll make sure to report back upon completion of the ghetto rig, possibly make a video.

ive seen kids using those brake bleeders to get a good vac. but honestly, to get a real vac purge on you need to go over 28 in Hg which requires a two stage vac pump.
 
Those seem to take far longer than 30 seconds to reach 28 hg... I'm hoping the relative speed of the water aspirator, plus the extremely small size of my chamber (1 pint) will help minimize repressurizing of the vacuum, and help me achieve the required negative pressure to sufficiently purge my oil.

omg its ridiculous to watch them hand pump the vac. just sayin its a really cheap alternative. any machine is better than hand pumping with a brake bleeder.
 
you can modify a refrigerator compressor to be a vacuum pump. my vacuum chamber is made from a $6 dollar shatterproof plastic jar bought at walmart. i donthave a gauge but i can boil water at room temp
 
i was thinking of a baby sauce jar with the lid rigged up with a medicine syringe (the big ones for cough syrup er something) without the needle part. basically seal the jar up with fresh BHO capped and pull the plunger creating a vacuum. i was thinking of like 3-4 glued on to really get the job done. best part is u can apply some heat to the glass to help with the separation.
well that was my plan for my next batch if i ever make
 
sort of an edit, also i remembered that once the plunger on the syringe is pulled all the out u should beable to take a piece of wood and fit it inthe plastic to hold the plunger. that will hold the vacuum, then toss the jar in a warm water bath and come back after it cools down. take care incase theres too much butane and the plunger pops out, basically worst case scenerio and jar goes boom.
 
Hi there mat i hope you dont mind me just jumping in but just watched your Videos with baited breath and enjoyed them a great deal and you have certainly help me decide what i will be doing with all my waste from now on, being in the U.K. and having to grow indoor under the radar i dont get any where as much waste as it looks as though you do but if i save my bud trim from a few grows it will be Happy Days for me, i realy liked the trick of getting rid of the green matter in the last bag, also just watching your vid has shown me how i want my set up, anyway thanks again for a truely educational Video all the best Doby Mick
 
This has nothing to do with your question, but I just saw someone on the local news in my area blow their house and themselves up trying to make some BHO inside their house. The police came up with some charges that I have never even heard of too for that poor fellow. Just remember to be safe making this shit.
