Best to buy soil/coco locally if at all possible, the price of it on Amazon is at least triple, especially right now.

Water with something like Botanicare CalMag+ @ recommended strength on bottle (Coco Coir naturally draws Calcium & magnesium like a magnet until it's "charged" with it.
Put bales in bin, fill water to just the top o the bales and let sit overnight, stir around and add more coco if its still too wet and more water/calmag if too dry until you get desired result. Put into pots and grow.

Oh and for best results keep your pH between 5.7-6.0 in coco.

Find somewhere local, shits ridiculous rn I thought it was bad when a bag of roots was $30, now that shits $40. Go get some peat, perlite, ewc, and dry amendments and do it in store if possible. Premixed potting soils already kind of expensive for what it is, sure Amazon says free shipping, but compare their prices to your local garden center and you’ll see amazons charging you for it. Only difficulty might be actually finding peat. Shits out of stock everywhere.

Depends where you live. Part of this is due to everyone and their grandma growing huge weed gardens now.

You need think things through if you need to shop around to find cheap enough soil for your indoor grow. Anyways... Buy more at a time to save money.

Oh yeah, I’m for sure done telling folk they should grow they’re own and how easy it is. Though I think some of it’s probably just seasonal. Lots of folk with regular non weed gardens getting started. I’m bout ready to switch back to hydro with these prices tbh.
