Hey guys i found this ebay company that is selling LED lights for ridiculous prices. I'm kind of suspicious of this. Anyone have any experiences with the providers before?
heres the link:http://cgi.ebay.com/LED-TRIBAND-UFO-GROW-LIGHT-90-watt-400-600-w-HPS-MH-90w_W0QQitemZ390087478777QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5ad3068df9#ht_14086wt_1008

ive personally bought a bunch of stuff off this seller... great items at rock bottom prices

i bought 2 complete lights and fans and carbon filters

all top notch... no experience with LED technology but the seller is A+ in my book

HTG is a good company. I have also ordered many parts of my equipment from them, never had an issue. Their customer service from my experience is excellent, I received a broken bulb once, one simple phone call and they replaced it very quick with no flaws. Though, I have no first hand experience LED technology I was contemplating ordering two of the same UFOs to remodel a veg room

From what I've gathered those LED grow lights are so cheap because they cut costs by using incorrect spectrum's of light. They are close but not exact. (What's funny is they mention they are the correct spectrum but everything I read says otherwise?) They will work but they definitely won't be ideal. It seems like LED technology is still expensive if you want a LED grow light with the exact light spectrum's you're looking for. Apparently hydrogrowled.com makes quality LED grow lights with the correct spectrum but they are crazy expensive. They range from $275 for a 63w (150w HPS equivalent) to up to $1,200 for a 318w. (1kw HPS equivalent)

To put this into perspective, You can get a complete 400w HPS for $120. Meanwhile, you'll have to spend $475 to get a comparable LED grow light. (126w model)

Excellent point, however i personally think the LED would be worth it if i could. No heat, cheap hydro, tiny to store, lightweight. Even though its expensive i think its one of the best lights for a small time no trouble kind of grow.
still though 475...
