Beneficial nematodes working well for me but super expensive. Need to find cheap source to use on constant basis. Anyone know anywhere decent prices???
Interesting. Cheers.Check out Amazon. I know I've seen the Scanmask ones on there before.
@kiwipaulie beneficial nematodes are microscopic worm-like organisms that parasitize a wide variety of soil-dwelling pests (root aphids, fungus gnat and even flea larvae). Their activity also benefits the soil by cycling nutrients.
These nematodes aren't easy to breed AFAIK, besides the fact that you need a microscope to determine how they're doing.
Yeah, a toxic broad-spectrum compound to half ass what nature does better while simultaneously actually providing for the plant. Sounds about right. Lol fuck our planet lol.Nema...whats?? Lol. Raid does wonders lol.
Thats why nematodes are so popular I guess. Actually I was kidding, I have never had the need to use any pest control on my girls, indoors or out. Have used sharp sand once for fungus gnats but didnt seem to work lol. Have thought about getting mantis's but that was just to watch the war lol.Yeah, a toxic broad-spectrum compound to half ass what nature does better while simultaneously actually providing for the plant. I keep predator mites in my soil, they are easier to keep around and monitor than the nematodes. It would be good to have both though.
