Check my first grow room

Hi guys, I am looking to attempt my first grow and currently designing my setup and wondering if you will look over and give me a few tips. I am a newbie so please bare with me.

Objective: 6 plants - 1lbs

Tent: 6 x 4
Light: Pro Grow LED 400 (maybe 2?) or 1 LED PGX5
Pots: coco coir and usual supplements
Accessories: humidity sensor, temp gauge, ph testing.

I am going with LED as heat/detection is a concern for me.

Thoughts, Suggestions?

if u in the usa u dont need worry bout heat detection
it is against law to use flir without search warrant since 2009 and if they got cause get warrant they dont have use flir they just kick door in

If you mean the tent is 6 ft tall and 4x4 at least a 6oow HPS is what you want. You will need to put in ventilation..but you would want to anyway

led i am not conviced about and with the cost of getting enough to cover that area

i go t5 or cfl ............they are both low watt and cfl u can get with in 2 1/2 inches of the plant with no harm (get phater dencer buds )

ok I got myself a 4x4 grow tent. I am going to purchase the hydro hut LED.

can anyone give me tips on ventelation? something quiet, it will be more for fresh air rather then heat.

as for changeing pots, at roughly what stage and any special way I need to transfer?

4mx4m? and do Not go With LED the technology is a long way off, and will almost get 30 times the yield with a 600w HPS but if you have a 4mx4m room you can slam a lot more lighting in there? for a fan, do you need a carbon filter? or is noise not a problem? and if your scared of heat detection deck your ceiling with mylar which interrupts the helicopters radars :)

You ain't getting a pound with a 400w LED. Shit, you ain't getting a pound with a 600w HPS.

Get the HPS system, it's fuck loads cheaper....and works better!!

I nearly get that with 400w hps.

5X5 tent + 1000w HID + 4 plants (5 wks veg) = 1.5 lbs At least for me...done it twice now and I'm a noob...

transplanting causes stress to the plant.

If you have the option, start and finish in the same container.

I'm not saying I didn't of haven't transplanted, but if it was an option I'd avoid it.

To the OP, one PG400 will not be enough to fill that space. For 5x5 I would get 2x, if you want to do 6x4, I think you would be better off with 4x panels (150w/ea) instead of 2x 250w.
