Well guys, only 3-4 more days until the final chop! No pictures to update right now, but here's some info:

A few leaves growing out of the buds have turned turned yellow, and upon inspection of the buds I found a little bit of rot, but disposed of it. I hope I don't see anymore of this before Sunday. The temps got around 50 degrees for the first time last night. I watered her last night with 3/4 a gallon of water/tbsp of molasses. I only expect one more watering, and that will be either tonight, tomorrow morning, or tomorrow night. Then it's just a waiting game, and then I get to chop her!! I can't wait till Sunday morning. Expect a WHOLE lot of pictures :D

Well, it has been a fun journey. But after 2 more days and nights, this lady will be trimmed and hanging. I am pretty excited, and am impressed by the sample branch that I took from the trunk of the plant 5 days ago.

It has been hanging for 5 days and this it was it looks like now:

Looking almost done. I'll give it 2 more days until I remove the buds from the stem, and into a mason jar for a light cure

And here are some pictures of my lady that is going to be chopped in 2 days!

It's been a fun journey, I'm glad some of you jumped on the bus for this one

Comments?!

yeah looks like a good harvest is yet to come, are the buds on the plant sticky at all?
looks like a good sativa bud you have there, also what is your white/red hair ratio?
and amber/clear tricomes ratio?

man you gotta be physched thats and awesome plant, been along the whole ride, great job enjoy that plant
thanks CC, you've been around since the beginning of this thread! I am pretty psyched. I'm going to buy some garden shears/trimming shears tomorrow, the kind that you can release when you feel any kind of resistance on the blades. The kind that FDD uses in his trimming tutorial, actually. Those look prime!

The buds are very, very sticky. If I lightly squeeze the side of one of the colas, my fingers are sticky and smell very dank until I wash them/wipe them profusely.
The hair ratio is at about a 50/50,
and the trich ratio is about 25% Amber/75% Milky.
In 2 days, the percentages may change but, they'll be getting chopped anyways! :blsmoke:

thanks for the quick response, yeah I've been following this one for a bit as well.
like you, I have a sativa looking pretty similar to yours, just the buds are a bit thinner, I'm thinking in a couple of days, of chopping as well.

probably soon!!!

So this morning I completed the first day of my cure. I opened the air tight jar after 24 hours, and put it in front of a small portable AC unit for a couple minutes, letting the new air move into the jar and pull the old air out, fluffing the buds around a little. Then, I let the jar sit in a dark corner of my room for about 25 minutes, until the strong wet grass smell was pretty much gone, and I resealed it until tomorrow :-D I think I did that right..

I'll be putting a thread up of my PURPLE KUSH harvest soon, looks to be almost done, and I can't wait,
I also have a sativa right next to her that is probably about done.
But we'll have to wait and see.

Hey everyone. Yesterday was very tiring. 10 straight hours of trimming, with no help aside from my girlfriend assisting me in tying these bad boys up. That is why there are no picture updates yet. I will be busy today in classes for 5 or 6 hours, but I will update all of the pictures tonight!

Here is a little preview, though:
