I made a post about a deficiency and some people said it was calmag but after a week or so of adding calmag to my nutes it's getting worse. The plant is almost 6 weeks into flower ..

She got nutes just two days ago I'm going to wait until it's dry and flush it good. I think it has something to do with build upI've had a leaf tht completely shriveled up . The buds look good it's just I'm running out of leaves bc I defoliated at week 3 and there's not alot of leaves which was def a mistake

What else can I do?

pH at 6 going in I also think tht the medium is messing with the pH. I used jiffy mix when I repoted it

You will want your PH range to be closer to 6.5 for soil.

the big brown blotches look like phosphorous deficiency and the faded leaves look mag deficient. If I wanted that greened up quick I would foliar feed epsom salt at about 50-75 ppm every couple of days, just a lite spray under the leaves lights out and water in epsom salt at about 100 ppm in my soil. Get some microbes as when you flushed your pot you flushed out most of your microbes more than likely.

I just added microbes.. and I was using the episom salt up until this week. Wasn't really helping it.

Should I be adding microbes when I feed or when I use pain water

What type of medium are you using?
You havn't stated.
What's the ph of your medium? How are you measuring this?
Low ph, will completely lockout calmag. Calcium doesn't look available to your plant. But you've been supplementing calmag......
How are you measuring your ppms?
NPK%?

I agree. Cut the nutrition. Check your ph ASAP.

i run with 7.0 and everything is quite smooth just a little input. if it gets outta range just use some humic acid to get it back naturally.

Once a week a small dose so you know you have some fresh microbes in there with your feed is better imo but you can add microbes with just water up to you.

Maybe the epsom salt will work better for you when you raise the ph up a bit. idk off hand what messes with the uptake of mag.

I'd say since you flushed a reunuted at the correct ph to just leave it alone till next watering.

A watched plant never boils.

So at first I used a mix for me medium.. it was

60% jiffy mix
20% vermiculite
20% moisture control soil
When I went to transplant to bigger pot all I had was the jiff mix Sonu used that a small amount of the vermiculite I had left. No reg soil.
I use a pH kit for testing and correcting. The one with up and down and the dropper for testing in the test tube. It goes in at 6 - 6.5. and comes out about 5.5 when I test run off normlly. I think my pH was a little lower than that on this plant maybe 5. I may have over corrected the pH once or twice a few weeks ago and I haven't flushed it Since just a little run off. so thats my next effort. I'm going to flush it at 6.5 and then refeed half strength nutes and add some microbes. I don't test ppm bc I don't have a meter. But I use the flora series starting with half dose and now at full dose. I thought that maybe this particular plant couldn't handle full strength so on the next watering I flushed and did half strength. I usually do a feed every other watering or sometimes feed feed water. My other plants are doing great So im thinking it might be the reaction from the medium and pH levels.i hear vermiculite will lower ph

QUESTION: its not ready to be watered again but should I just go ahead and flush it now?? Or should I wait another day or two?? It's been 2 daAs since I last watered. I usually water it every 4 to 5 days when needpH. And should I just flush it or add nutes at the right pH?? It's been fed twice in a row already but I don't think it's able to pick out the nutes bc the ph

Id say never feed anything full strength from Nute company recommendations... I like coco coir and low dose nutes as often as possible (no dry cycle needed in coco)... I bet a build-up has blocked some needed nutes out... I haven't checked ppms or ph in a long time and everyones happy. I think the way the nute companies push us to use so much causes far more problems than it ever solves...

Im with Huckster here. Too much.

Check your ph asap.
Your mix has A LOT of water holding capacity.
If there's a lot of nitrates in your soil. The ph will drop.
Excess nitrates can also be caused by continuously wet soil. Turning amonia (NH3) into ammonium (NH4). Which reacts with sulphur, to form ammonium sulphate. Ammonium sulphate, lowers your ph.
You'll have a lot of urea too.
Phosphates can do it too.

Check your mediums ph before doing anything.

If it were in Coco I'd say yes-right now, but with a very weak nute mix... I'm not sure the oxygen absorption of your mix, if its not enough you could end up with overwatering conditions if you don't give it that dry cycle... If Jiffy mix is peat based you may need to let it get a bit dry before hand... Peat is hard to grow in imo one of main reasons is you can't respond as fast as you need it to dry cycle...

Hopefully the flush will help. I just did that and a lite feeding. I also sprayed lightly with some epsome.
I will def let it dry completely after this before watering

You don't have a cal mag problem.

You have nutrient burn. You've burnt them slap to hell with too much nutrients. Soil grows really don't require that many nutrients, especially in the beginning. Only in the later stages where you're watering every other day to ever day do you really need to start stepping up the nutrients a bit.

I 'm starting to notice this too. Some growers use these hot premix soils and in the first week dose them with a ton of nutes. I don't feed for the first three weeks; depending on the plants needs of course.

Feeding plants are like salting soup. You can always add more if needed but it's hard to take it out.
