Isn't that just seriously so crazy? Just imagine.... Hahahahaha45+ amps... You would need fucking 4 gauge to keep efficiency up.
I could see it used as a security camera spot light or some shit, other than that it's retarded and at 80lm/w I'm going to assume par is worse than a 1000w SE hps, this chip must run hot af.Isn't that just seriously so crazy? Just imagine.... Hahahahaha
Care to elaborate on your custom heat sinks and current lighting setup?@OneHitDone Doing ok for the way the world is. I used the Luna 300 and there heatsinks for a while, but their COBs require soldering to the COB. Once the CLU058 3618 was available, I jumped over to Citizen, but had the heatsinks made to my spec for the CLU058. At flip chip, the only one left that I know is the old guy at the delivery door. I have dealt with 4 or 5 different salesmen there. Haven't followed their COB, I think the company when another direction as their main income.
The heat sinks are from Flipchip Opto? The one over my name is a 600 watt capable heatsink that holds 2 CLU058 milled for wider spread. Heavy, 13lb.
Their 250 & 320 watt heatsinks, drilled for the CLU058 and 2 different diameter lens. And a 320 watt version of the big one. I run their 250HS on an HLG120H-C1400B for 165 watts and there 320HS on an HLG240H-C2100B for 250 watts.
I usually hoover around 30 watts per square foot.
