Checking my plants when lights are out.....

I am in 2 wk. of flowering stage of 12/12. I need lights to burn during daylight. However, it is nearly impossible for me to get home in time to check progress- feed, water, do lamp raising, ect. If I come in the room when lights are out and turn on an incandescent floor (40W) lamp to service my plants, can this send them back into veg. stage? Usually, in for 10-15 min. Can this confuse them? If so, how do I remedy this. Cannot change hours of lights, too risky. Is there a certain color filter I can put over a flashlight that enables me to service my girls? Please help.

or you could change the hours, I'm assuming your worried about light leaks right. Fix them and run 9-9 am that way you can service your room after 9 b4 bed and in the morn when you wake up. Also you will have better temperature levels this way... I'm just guessing your reason though, most people go from evening until morning with lights on. Good luck ~ BCbuddy :leaf:

I've found the best way to do this stuff was a green LED headlamp

got this one on woot.com for $20, works great
