Back at it,got few more bubblers now and changed the 90ltr setup from one plant to 2 .
I've got afew soil plants still one ak47 from cut and one D'Og's from seed from a friend :leaf:there in 20ltr pots.I only vegged for 2 weeks this time round to try and cut down on the hieght so hopefully i'll get less thrash at the bottom.
Rooms been altered a bit the 12"fan & filter is now hanging from the rafters so the temps are alot better the 10" box fan(input) is on rarely. 4 lights 3 sunmaster and 1 growlux.
Not added as much nutes as before and a lower nute schedule. Some how my ph pen messed up so it damaged my plants got it sorted now though,so things are looking much better.Got root rot in a fewof the bubblers gave them 2 doses of microbial and there still looking bad may throw them away.this is why im glad i didnt go for the rdwc as the'd all the f'd.

Thanks bruv .. Yeah your converting over the darkside:) Nah hydro aint as hard as some make out but saying that i still aint figured it all out as i still managed to get root rot in 3 of my bubbs dont ask me how its just them 3 and not the rest, and im still burnin the leaves :)Im always happy to help bruv so fire away .
My plants have been ph burnt again my pen seems to be doing its own thing eeven though it got buffered the other day! Getting another one in the week.
Im chucking out the rot plants as the microbial doesnt seem to working plus theyre just to small compared to the rest Im thinking about hanging a light vertically at the back (to the left) of the room as temps are holding at 24.c without any air input at the mo.

Stay tuned..

Your plants look great! way nicer than the 2 blue cheese plants a friend gave me yesterday to turn into mothers so I can take some starts.. Now i know what the leaves should look like.. The two I have look hammered. I'm sure I'll have them looking healthy in a week or so, my friends plants always look terrible... Anyway, great work. Subscribed.

A few of the leaves on the soil plants started showing burn damage not that bad cause ive been watching those plants closely so i caught it early, I normally have my nute strength at 1.0-1.5 e.c when its turned to 12/12 but thats with 4wks veg this time my plants were smaller as i veg'd 2wks so my food strenght was around 0.5-0.8 this time around. Im not sure what that works on in ppm but ill check when i get back in the garden. The ph is 5.5- 6.0 i try and keep a few under cause i notice that it seems to rise up a bit .

where can I get ahold of some blue cheese beans???
Where are you based? Theres Big buddha with the blue cheese on a few sites im not sure who else sells them.

Thanks TL2Q , my cuts are from Big buddha cheese which looked different to some blue cheese i seen on riu mine have some big indica leaves on em. I used to hammer my plants aswell till i started listening , mostly people overfeed and dnt ph down the water for soil. try easing back on the strength and ph'd water 6.2 see what happens.

Cool samba..thanks for stoping by,the D'og is from a grower DST hes explained it here a

Dog

The DOG is basically a strain that has come from a female Headband that has hermied and developed male flowers half way through the flowering period. One of the unplucked males flowers was used to germinate an OG Kush female and provided a number of seeds that have all turned out feminized. The strain does produce, like the parent, some plants that throw out male pods. This is reasonably controllable and once removed tend not to return. Further tests are being done on the clone of one of the particular pheno's that produced the male pods to see if cloning removes this trait which it has shown to do in the parent Headband.

There appears to be two different phenotypes on the whole, one providing a longer stretching plant, and the other a shorter more tightly compact plant. Both have dark green fan leaves showing indica dominant traits, with extremely tight compact buds that glisten with resinous trichomes. The end result producing a weed that delivers nostalgic smells and tastes of bygone era's, as well as having the right power and ability to meet the needs of the modern day medical marijuana user.

The two parents, like the original Chemdawg strain of the early 90's,had been found in bags of weed that were purchased in a well known coffeeshop in Amsterdam,The Grey Area. Over the last few years the seeds have been grown out to produce the parents of the DOG.

Flowering period 9 weeks, for best results leave until mid week 9 at least.

2 phenos, both grow fairly large. One takes on the more compactness of the Headband while the other is a more stretchy plant, with a similar viney branch structure to the OG Kush. the latter being a fairly reasonable yielder and good plant for training. Takes well to pretty much most techniques, fimming, lst, supercropping. A combination will bring you a crazy plant with compact calyxes that foxtail around week 7 and are encrusted with trichomes. Combination of dark greens, lime, silvery tones, with light brown hairs on curing.

At first smell the deep spicy cumin tones of the Headband come through, reminding some of the unpleasant tone of an unwashed armpit. The complexity of the smells deepens with a deep chemical piney smell upon pressure to the calyx or while tearing the bud open.

A draw of an unlit joint brings sweetness, aniseed and liquorice flavours. With fire to the jay an immediate old school flavour is detected, a sweet herbal smell, organic grown DOG produces a very smooth smoke to the throat, leaving a slight gentle tingle over the tongue and nose on exhale. the exhale retains the sweetness and leaves a morish taste on the pallet with the desire for more. The tingle leaves a slightly thick resinous feeling in the back of the throat. You know you have taken a draw that is going to hit you soon. A wine taster would class this as having a "Long Finish".

The effect can be felt in the lower leg muscles, calf's and through the thighs. Good for people on their feet all day and needing to relax those muscles.

Half way through the joint I had a nice warm feeling in my cranium as well as the creeping body and muscle effects. the joint retains its strong morish flavour which is always a good sign of a nice weed.

After 30 minutes I am still as high as when I first had the joint. The urge is there for another even though it's not needed, I still have a nice Headband effect around my cranium, and I am feeling relaxed.

the blue cheese i got off a mate who grew it from seed a while back and i hve got the exdous cut but cause i ve had other cheeses when i cutted before t didnt label the plants so i dont which setup has what exact cheese again, thats why now everythings labelled !!

you know I've always been super lazy and just done plain old miracle grow veg and sunshine mix #1, and have always had very lush, full, healthy looking plants. I'm in the middle of revamping my entire setup, including nutrients.. I don't have a ph tester ATM. I'm going to pick one up this weekend though. This will be my 1st grow with multiple nutrients, a large reservoir with the bubble rock, pump & hose etc.. Hopefully the plants live through my learning curve :) I'll definitely take your advice and dilute the nutes a bit. I've always felt I'd rather go lite than burn em. Thanks

Sampling one of my next projects right now, some BLZ bud its alright ,just started toking. SAM_4625.jpg
Those thst read the last grow log would remember all those strains i was working with and planning to get, some never came threw - my mate messed up and re-started it again and some that i grew i dont want again.
Heres a few that ive worked with and what ive got planning/acces to :
Pine apple chunk- didnt like the bud or size
Exdous cheese-dank- only in hydro though
Chronic- ok smoke-bt grew a bit taller than i thought
Sup/silver haze-doja all the way -needs training early
Ak48- strong but not the best taste or smell- good to lollipop (strip down)
Power diesel- think i got the wrong thing -smoke av
