Single Seed Center sent me two of their in-house "Platinum Collection" feminized Cheese seeds as a freebie with an order of other strains. Being a bungling buffoon, I killed one of them right after it sprouted but the other gave me a nice plant that I put outdoors in SoCal in late summer last year.
At that time, I had never even smoked, much less grown, Cheese so I did not know what to expect. The plant was about the same size as the indica-leaning strains that I usually grow and it turned a really deep purple around Christmas/New Year's. Then it started raining here and I decided to harvest it even though I was not sure it was completely finished, because of paranoia about mold and mildew. But the plant seemed healthy and vigorous and I think it would do pretty well indoors under lights.
The effects of the flowers were not what I would call mind-blowing, but it was a good enough buzz that I am growing it again from clones that I got off the mother plant. This year I will give it longer to finish, I guess. I'm still using clones of clones of the plant I got from that freebie seed. I just checked SSC and they are still offering them for $10 ("on sale") each, feminized.
