Single Seed Center sent me two of their in-house "Platinum Collection" feminized Cheese seeds as a freebie with an order of other strains. Being a bungling buffoon, I killed one of them right after it sprouted but the other gave me a nice plant that I put outdoors in SoCal in late summer last year.

At that time, I had never even smoked, much less grown, Cheese so I did not know what to expect. The plant was about the same size as the indica-leaning strains that I usually grow and it turned a really deep purple around Christmas/New Year's. Then it started raining here and I decided to harvest it even though I was not sure it was completely finished, because of paranoia about mold and mildew. But the plant seemed healthy and vigorous and I think it would do pretty well indoors under lights.

The effects of the flowers were not what I would call mind-blowing, but it was a good enough buzz that I am growing it again from clones that I got off the mother plant. This year I will give it longer to finish, I guess. I'm still using clones of clones of the plant I got from that freebie seed. I just checked SSC and they are still offering them for $10 ("on sale") each, feminized.

@Cboat38 I just ordered a pack of Uk Cheese x NL1 by Coastal Seed Co in Cali. You can order online through Coastal Seed Co or JBC seeds. $100 though. I would recommend them based off what I’ve heard about them and this cheese strain.. and definitely based off of their location. I plan on doing some crosses with it if it’s as good as I heard

Wanted to update what I posted about the Cheese I got from Single Seed Center. I grew one plant last summer through early winter outdoors in LA County. I was not crazy about the potency of the flowers, but I cloned the plant and am now growing a couple clones outside again.

Couple days ago I noticed a small bud had been accidentally broken off a plant so I decided to dry it out and vape it. The potency was amazing. It was powerful and the effect was very energetic, not just the couchlock you expect from an indica.

I expect to harvest the two Cheese clones in the next week or two. I have not had great luck re-cloning this Cheese line but I know I can get more feminized seeds from SSC.
