Cheese Quake~ The Test Thread

The head tester thought it was time to get my own thing started.
This is a cross we thought up over a year ago but before we could proceed we had to fully check out our new Querkle Male we nick named Doc.

Selecting the most Urkle dominant male we then proceeded to test him by back crossing to Urkle and growing out the progeny. THis complete we moved forward with Cheese Quake.

by day 3 we had 100% germination but some are still down in the rooters so give those a few extra days to get big enough to transplant.

Quick question for you Subcool - what size pots are those that you transplanted into? How long do you wait to transplant? I guess I accidentally transplanted the Apollo-13 BX seedlings to early because I ended up losing two of the seven.....

When I get nice roots I transplant into 1 gallon pots.
If they wilt you can cover em with the corner of a plastic baggie

Thank you so much!! Last question, what medium do you use? I mixed Fox Farm Organic Ocean Forest mixed with Organic Sunshine Mix #4 with a little more Fox Farm than Sunshine... Could it have been too strong of a mix?

I hjave said it hundreds of times OF is a poor choice for soil.
I use Roots mabe go read my soil thread its very educational :)

Lookin good Sub.Nice and uniform.
The one thing I noticed thats similar to the Q.Trains are the leaves.I noticed that some of them are more rounded while others look sharp like a saw blade.
