Hey Bigv,

The topped plant was around 15inches with the straight up and LST around 13inches. I may have left them too long in the small pot at the start as the root systems were really coming out of the root riot cubes. Ill also take a shot tonight of the root system the LST plant left behind i thin you will all be surprised even with 12/12 how much of the 11 litre pot has been filled!!!

Sorry I'm jumpin in so late in the grow, but mad props to your success...you have just given me some great ideas with the 12/12 from seed grow...good luck in the future!

Did you weigh your harvest from the topped plant yet ?
mine are doing fine now i got rid of the male CHURCH i had. They are both cheesewreck & about 2 ft tall now. the 1 with 4 colas is the tallest & i have tied the branches down to let in more light to the lower buds. the buds are now starting to glisten with THC, so i think another 3 weeks for her. does that sound about right ?
The other c/w is about 4" smaller but has 6 colas ! she has only been in bud for about 2 weeks, but also needed tying down as its very dense lower down the plant.
I took some cuttings before & into flower, which are now split 4 under 12/12 & 4 in 24/7 for another 2 weeks.
I am gonna try the harvest every 2 week system with 2-3 plants going under 12/12 every fortnight, so lets see how it goes !
PLease get back to me about the weights as i really wanna compare mine to yours to see which is the better way to grow c/w.

He B2theizzle, things are going great finally at the end the topped plant and the staright up are still in the pots they have been in the dar for the last 30hrs ready to be chopped am just about to post pics... had some camera issues so am a little behind. Sorry to hear about the male but 2ft tall cheeswreck is sweet mine only just made it over 1ft!

With regards to time to harvest you really need a scope something similar to this one http://www.everyonedoesit.com/online_headshop/420_Scope_60100x.cfm?iProductID=4953 they are cheap but you can see if the trichs are amber. If you decide not to go for a scope then you must wait till there are no new white hairs... if is white hair its still growing

I like the sound of having new green every 2 weeks weight of LST coming now will be around 5 to 7 days for topeed and straight up.

So after 90 days of growth under 12/12 only followed by 6 days in a nice cool dark place here is the shots and weight of the LST Cheesewreck:

For me the LST took off too early by bending it over i forced it into a place where it felt it need to grow and grow with no real focus on any particular place so the lower buds are not far off the main cola weight and size.

So here is the straight up plant the whole stem is like 1 long bud... i know it will have a big stick running up the middle but its still cool i place the plant in the dark and it has been there for approx 30hrs will take out in 18 more hrs then chop and hang to dry. i cut lower branchs off this plant so that it would focus more on producing the main cola. I think this helped to do that but wait till you see the topped one

95 Days 12/12 From Seed to Harvest (Straight Up)

This one surprised me the most all the real growth came in the last few weeks which makes waiting till its really ready to chop very important as the last weeks really count. As you see from the pics the lower buds are of a good size and the two main colas are slo pretty fat. She has been in the dark for 30 hrs will take out at 48 and clip and hang her.

will post some pics tomorrow of the topped and straight up after i have trimed them of excess leaves.

The staright up is like a long think bud very tight bud and the topped has some cool buds all round... my fingers still smell from the cutting last night and had to wash my scisors as they were starting to stick together cant wait to get this dried cured and smoked

Hi hiphopIRE,

I topped mine as soon as i felt it could handle it... if i remember rightly it had been around 1.5 to 2 weeks after i transplanted them to 11 litre pots. I tried to do it as early as possible as the time frames are tight when doing 12/12 from start to finish unlike when you have a veg stage where you can wait for recovery to take place before you flower.

My suggestion would be too make sure the plant is strong so a good stem thickness and a good few sets of true leaves. Stop back in 5-7 days for the dried bud weigh in

Thanks Blackroses i feel a very proud father lol i smoked a bud of the LST plant after it had dried and it packed a punch cant wait for some curing time to get done so i can really taste the fruits of my labour.

Hey chain seeker nice to hear more and more are trying 12/12 from seed... i will have a break for a few months as its peak summer here so is hard to control the huid and temps I have AK48 and Bubblelicious from Nirvana ready for a winter grow. I will report more on my time doing 12/12 in a few days but if your short on space in your grow room then 12/12 is perfect as the plants stay small and all the same height.

The plants need time to reach the flowering phases no matter if you do veg or just 12/12 all the way and from my results you can see it still took just under 100 days and everytime you top cut etc it slows the process for recovery. I still am undecided but i think next time i will veg for a few weeks so i can top and lst etc then not worry when is the right time to flower but go straight in as soon as the plant has the right amount of colas (check out this guys plants https://www.rollitup.org/members/probo24-57015.html he is also 12/12 but as you see he has done a much better job on the topping and lst which gave him 2.5oz's fro a single plant! Shes a real beauty and she looks just like my LST plant The 12/12 will be perfect for your stealth set up just remember in 12/12 to only start couting the flower days after you see signs of this on the plant as some people start from seedling which leads some to beleive that 12/12 is a faster method of growing cant wait to see the pics of her trimmed and ready to hang... plus rep for growin some dank bud

Those buds look sweet. any news on the yeilds yet ?
Miy c/w are starting to cover the whole cola's tops now. The 6 cola 1 is as tall as the 4 cola one & i have trimmed a lot of fan leave off to allow more light to the lower buds.
Whats the smoke like ? some say its trippy, others say couch lock !
the best trippy smoke i had was in Amsterdam Big Buddha Cheese. i got confused & had to sit in a bar fro an hour before i could find my way back to the hotel !!
i got some sweet deep grapefruit on the go now too, but am unsure of yeild & potency of her. Think she will big taller than the c/w
